What is your favourite expansion for 19 twinks?

Vanilla/BC were enjoyable due to the exploring new things such as what was actually possible to do at 19, what items were obtainable etc. I personally liked WotLK a lot since a lot of classes/specs were viable, and it wasn't insanely imbalanced. Also the game was a lot less burst than now.

And very few things beat available skirmishes for 19s.
 
Wotlk due to the fact that alot of items took rare quality instead of uncommon/common and that opened up an entire world of new sets and the removal of weird stat combinations.

negative parts of wotlk: lot of people quit when they didnt want to spend the money to migrate to blackout and the end of the Talbar Mantle era.

you do realize this happens every single time when a xpac is released all the idiots freaking out becasue que times are slow THE END OF 19s IS NEAR OMGZ, everyone is on their 90s doing shit but i really cant say this is surprising to see all the so called #1s in WT with a 0-1 premade record for life changing to a bracket where farming isnt looked down upon.

Interesting, I did not think that Burning Crusade would be the favourite one, followed by Cataclysm in its narrow lead over WotLK. It makes sense though, back in those days you had skirmishes, games that lasted 3 hours(or until you could get your buddies in). There were SO many terrain exploits or jumps that you could use and no stacks; making for much creative fcing. It is what defines twinking today. It honestly felt like singularly you could contribute to games so much. Not that I am not sure if the quality of play was even remotely up to par but it was undeniably a lot of fun. I remember uniting all the noobs to turtle against huge premades as a priest, and wanding things to death lool.

I started in BC, but I suspect that Vanilla was also a lot of fun, and when you twinked back then it was a REALLY close knit community. It doesn't get a lot of votes, because I don't think twinking was that popular back then.

Since everyone likes to always get on me for my tinking business.. Surprise surprise...I had no idea what the 24 bracket was all about until I started playing it. Its nice to play with a coordinated group again(see the terrible mop play I've been referring to). Yes I am farming out a lot of boring games, but every once in a while we get a 5+ man coming our way =]. Its no different from farming as WT in mid / late cata for me, farming out quick games until I get a decent group, except f2ps are a bit easier :/. On a spriest, it is definitely overpowered, but its kind of fun to solo queue with. I will always love disc priest.

Just a quick tldr; I did not make a 24 to smash f2ps all day. Lol.

Edit: Yes Canna, I am sure that this is a slow time. It will likely pick up later in the expansion. I have already hinted at this.

Rolling 24s alongside the break of the new expansion is why queues are slow (even though I have yet to wait more than 30 minutes for a game? play peak hours and it's fine). You're LAF. I play 24s when 19s are not going to pop for several hours and for a change of pace OR during peak peak hours. When you pay for my subscription and others, feel free to tell us how to play then. Otherwise, pipe down and stop derailing the thread with this mocha-esque nonsense.
 
Call me naive, but I'm more of a "what was in the past is more memorable" type of guy. Vanilla also required more out of players to fully function their toon versus now where you can pretty much put your toon on auto-pilot and be successful.
 
Man I liked vanilla, didn't have to wait for 30minutes-3 hours to get into a game and there was some respect among fellow twinkers unlike nowadays it's just all flame, trolling or who has the most forum friends, could just duo queue wsg with my former guildmaster
and chill now it is just uptight, you get flamed on forums for everything you say,do, have said or done and you hardly even get to play these days 'cause most twinks have quited this bracket or they can't be arsed to play at all
 
I started in bc and that was my favorite expansion as a whole as far as fun and nostalgia goes. But for twink competition, cata was the best.
