x= Weapon DPS 15,56 / 15
y= Weapon Speed 2,7 / 2,8
Average Melee Swing Damage (with complete disregard for additional stats)
Venerable Mass of McGowan: (29,4+54,6)/2 = 42 (in MH)
Shadowfang: (29+55)/2 = 42 (in MH)
Now taking into account additional stats:
1 agility = 1,88 AP; 0,078% Crit = (0,0714*1,88)+(x*0,00078) = 0,14636 (SF) / 0,14598 (McGowan) DPS
1 AP = 0,0714 DPS (Is added to both MH and OH not shared however the OH damage reduction does apply)
1 Crit = 0,3375% Crit = (x*0,003375) = 0,0525 (SF) / 0,0506 (McGowan) DPS
1 Haste = 0,473% Haste = (z/(y*(1-0,00473)))-x = 0,069 (SF) / 0,071 (McGowan) DPS
"Shadowy Bolt" now i did some testing and hit the same player 200 times and shadowy bolt procced 11 times now i see a pattern emerging so i round it off to 5% chance which seems pretty accurate. It caused average of 19 - 20 depending on amount of resilience gear.
Given said proc chance:
(0,05*19,5)/2,7 = 0,361 DPS

--------THE CONCLUSION---------

Shadowfang:
15,56 DPS
+
6 Agility (6*0,14636)
Shadowy Bolts (0,361)
=
16,7826DPS V 44,338/Hit

Venerable Mass of McGowan
15 DPS
+
3 Agility (3*0,14598)
2 Haste (2*0,071)
2 Critical Strike (2*0,0506)
Energy Regeneration (0,10/s) roughly 0,3 DPS considering hemorrhage or the monk equivalent Keg Smash would cost 40 energy.

15,981 DPS V 43,907 / Hit

So with regard to marginals in all aspects shadowfang has a substantial DPS lead and despite it's swifter speed it hit's with a greater potency nonetheless and hence not even abilities that benefit from weapon damage should be considered a valid argument in favor of McGowan. I calculated the DPS of Shadowfang myself because the label contradict aforementioned speed and average damage. Venerable Mass of McGowan provides but more stamina.

Yes i posted this previously but it was received with nothing but tedious comments. Now i'm posting this to terminate debates and doubts concerning the value of certain 1h weapons. Furthermore it provides usefull information for further improving your gear by using the information i procured

I don't know why you are comparing me to Curley or why you are accusing me, because this is completely thorough with disregard of nothing and very well documented as well and exactly how is this pointless ? i mean regardless of whether or not you possess a shadowfang or even require one the other stat values should still count something don't you think ?

This such a lame thing to say. That players were seperated with their own locked battleground doesnt mean that the base defenition of a real twink changed to that twinks fight just only twinks.

It would be better to say; level 19 item collectors and not posting a hate reply to people playing in that 20-24 bracket when it even covers all the twink basics better then the locked 15-19 bracket full with terrain exploiters.

Any value multiplied by (nobody equates to 0) 0 is 0. This is know because the property of zero is:

x * 0 = 0

so in your case with said assigned values:

0 * A F*ck * Gives = 0

Therefore your argument is invalid.

man people used to pay thousands of gold and transfer money for rare items that gave a small bonus, for example at 19s it was shadowfang, 29s it was petrospill, and 39s it was green lens of stamina/eagle/monkey/etc

what makes no sense to me is why people waste their time for a title or achievements

actually most "real" twinks was never BiS because they didnt have the spare xp to get so. and being able to do both alli and horde qsts was close to impossible.

i said being BiS had nothing to do with "real" twinking as it was founded on NOT being biS. we not allowed to mention pre kasvotkämmen days now?
