Enchanting Ranged Weapons

So, I was levelling Enchanting on my priest and I tried to enchant my wand with Enchant Weapon - Minor Striking. Surprisingly, it worked.

Well, I hadn't seen anybody do it in Cata. Has this been possible since MoP came out? And is it even well known? Because I haven't heard it mentioned anywhere else on the forums and nobody has a wand equipped in their armoury.

And can hunters use Enchant 2H Weapon - Minor Impact on bows, crossbows, etc? If possible, it'd be a lot easier option than getting Standard Scope all the way from Gnomeregan. (Plus, the bow would glow!)

You could say the same about Wands.

Since Hunters lost Melee Weapons they should get like 30+agility enchant for bow, and trials should get like 10+agility for bow.

I am going to obviously troll Cripz now and won't mean it in a bad way, but he wants +10/30 agi enchant on his bow so he can play it again :>

I think it would be a bad idea to give them + 10 agi enchants because a lot class lost something

rogues also lost them
warriors lost them
mages lost wands and junk unless you want to add +10 str + 10 agi + 10 int + 10 spirit then i think it would be a bad idea.
warlocks lost wands
