Protection Paladins, Spell Hit, and PvP Weapon Choice

Maybe a Demon band instead of Silverlane's to get to 6.5% hit? Or is 5.4% ok for humans with swords?

Human sword/mace expertise gives 1% spell hit, meaning you only need 10 hit rating if a sword or mace is equipped.

Also, if you haven't done it already, there is a new quest in ragefire chasm that gives you Stone Guard Greaves - Item - World of Warcraft

You have to be spec'd Ret to get the reward though.

It seems like Gms can't change quest rewards. I had a chat with one and I wanted to simply change my Thaelrid's Greaves to the BFD shield but he said no. Seriously, are GMs even helpful anymore?

Here's what I got so far: Udders

edit : Udders is in what I figure to be pre-BoA, no farming BiS. It is retardedly hard not to get 12 hit in this state. Dungeon quest shoulders, quest bracers, quest boots. That's it.

When you lose the 4 hit on the shoulders for the BoA, is when I suppose one would actually have to put in some thought about the options for hit.
