So I've been farming Ceremonial Leather Loincloth for my human rogue's xmog forever (I have about 50 wc AND rfc runs just for these pants) and have been looking for Skeletal Club for my BoA-mace's mog (since I can't get the shovel :/) and Silver-Linked Footguards for my nelf-warrior (before they were nerfed beyond the ground) soooooo much - and what happens? Today I run some dungeons with my new druid and I get all 3 of them... The Club and the Footguards in ONE DAMN Stockades-run... FML, right?

Any similar stories of long farmruns on one character and another toon gets it easily?
 
Thats ok that dreaded loincloth eluded me for 6+months.
Statistics - Community - World of Warcraft while it looks like only 25+12=37 RFC/WC runs, ive left those dungeons so many times and ive cleared the quarry in the barrens maybe 40 times and then...one day i got the damned legs in RFC. and i eventually got them. Then ..GUESS WHAT? One of my friends decided to make a shaman, I run him trough WC and ..ofcoruse those things drop. Lets just say I pressed need on them

at least the damned mindthrust bracers only took 70 SFK runs

one time i got chased by some cows in oxford and i trod in some shit
 
My 5th BFD run my Ring of Precision drops right after I pack up my laptop. My brother was running me so I saw it drop get won by a random Druid. At the time no one had the ring, I would have been the first.

I've done around 300 BFD runs since then and I don't have my Ring of Precision yet.
 
I had to farm 30+ blood elf bandits for the mask

I started to think it was removed from table, only to see a draenei warrior walk by my undead hunter with one....and a dead bandit

lets just say i stopped for that day, but came back 4 days later and 2nd kill dropped it
 
I actually have the mask on every new Draenei/Nelf I make (easy getting there) well, it is a long farm esp at lvl 5-7 (no mount), but worth the messages I get strolling through Goldshire
 
A few years ago, when good ol' Venomstrike was still BiS for hunters... I literally had an 80 run me through WC 73 times (Yes, I counted) before the dang bow finally dropped. And then, a few days later, I go on an alt and do WC... and the bow drops on the first time. And at this time the bow was about a 17% or so drop... so just FML.
 
Recipe for Potion of Swiftness has eluded my undead priest. I've had it drop for me 3 times on my alliance priest and once for my alliance pally. I've been doing solo clears of RFC because wowhead says it drops there like 0.01% of the time. I've just gone out and killed level 15-16 mobs everywhere because of the remote chance it will drop off any of them. If anyone has a secret farming spot they want to share I'm all ears.
 
Blood of bandit mask is worthless piece of shit because you can't even mog it! Don't get me wrong I have one and it looks cool but I don't get why bliz can't add some stats and make it green.

Well, at least you found chests - I started farming MM for my mage's mog (and for dat nasty extra-stam every now and then) - not found even 1 chest in about 1 month worth of farming - FML, right?
 
I went to farm MM, I got it after 10 min. However I keep pulling up shoes during the fishing extravaganca
