Someone tell me why these are bis.

They have never been and are 100% not bis now with gouge removed @19.

SO someone plz tell me why do kids think these are BIS.
 
So you're trying to say 1 extra agility and 4 stam (lol) is better than reducing 2.95% to dodge and 2.95% to parry? Considering with our lack of mobility a lot of our specials and white hits will be hitting from the front of the opponent and not the back.

I fail to see your logic.

Stop, truly skillful rogues never have to hit from the front. Or that is what the OP wants us to think.
 
nope I think you kids are just bad...... Numbers im my mind are the trust and they show that these are not, and never have been BIS........ but I was wondering why ppl though that............ but it seems no one really knows. just copied what someone said......... LOLs

The point is.

Don't Sinister Strike or Hemo from the front. These new baddies like curley who started in wotlk+ have no fathom of how melee combat works / how to aim your attacks at an enemy's back.

Does no one remember the male UD rogue shirt saying "Rogues Do It From Behind?" that doesn't mean backstab/ambush only, that means attacks in general a well.

Perhaps im dating myself here since im talking about a whole 5 years ago or so like o m g most of today's twinkers were about 11 back then and im not even talking about when 19s were at it's peak

I know how to aim attacks at the enemies back. But when you're being kited and your opponent is backstrafing away, are you trying to tell me that I'm not supposed to hemo at all until I can hit their back?

What he's trying to tell you is that you need a real rogue like Mocha or DesH to teach you how to correctly attack a kiting enemy, without the aid of gap closers, from behind.

don't get kited, use LoS, open field is a rogue's worse terrain.
 
With Gouge gone @19 these gloves seem 100% useless. And even more so with the state of rogues in the bracket. I wasn't trying to start a fight.I was just looking to see the reason out in writing.


But seeing that I'm getting made fun of for being able to do math in my head I'm gona say none of you kids know how to do any of the math needed to know what BIS is. And sure there may be times when you need that 2%, but I'm thinking even that 1 that ONE agi will do more for you in most (if not all) situations not to mention the stam.

And sure I will give you kids tips. Can teach you how to "combat stealth" so you can get these ambushes off if you want :D
