Living Steel weapon chains

But I thought the cap on expertise only reduces dodge and parry by 3% total? According to my character tab that is.

Isn't there a cap on how much expertise you can have vs. players?

And as long as people are using this, I will not be queuing 19's. It's the gems situation all over again except this is much worse (for me as a rogue) and it's much more easily obtained.

What's cool about having 200 expertise?

In all honestly the effect of using them would be worse than using the gem exploit.

or it would just be like how hunters were with their shots not being dodged (which by the way, is fucking retarded and RNG dependent which is again the shittiest design possible)

And with evasion no longer granting 25% chance to miss it really doesn't change anything.

on top of that, just to clarify, the gem exploit would have actually helped all of the brackets if everyone wasn't so impressionable and instead ignored the pure idiocy that was posted by a member of these forums. aka if everyone used Resil gems as they granted more damage reduction than the redgemdps provided by the mongoloid alternative.

If you want to read the rationals behind this subject use the search function to find the thread, I'm sure its still kickin' somewhere

I was consistent in my reading of the arguments for/against gems and I do agree it could have helped the bracket. However the point I made was referring to what actually happened; i.e. majority of the bracket not using gems and the rest using double agi gems or FC's using double resil gems, etc.

There wasn't much of an argument to be perfectly honest, and it's not that it could have helped the bracket - it's that it would have helped the bracket. The implications the gems had on the bracket were not able to be flushed out in full and the conversation was actually cut short which caused a long period of shitty gameplay that would have been better but because the community was cut short of its' discussion.

Odd, things seem to run full circle

Was spell pen also a mongoloid alternative?

I would be more willing to let this run by as it does take some RNG out of the game (aka shit design philosophy)

but on the other hand it does increase the damage of some classes (mostly arcane mage's burst)

and at the same time the Resil gained from two sockets would still reduce that damage substantially

No mention of CC? I am disappointed.

This was more focused on the CC as the other point focused on damage, but it makes sense how it wouldn't be interpreted that way as it wasn't explained well enough.

Why does everyone refer to gemming like its in the past lol.

I continue to see why the general population of non-twinks in WoW hate us.

It is because sites changed to bad like this one where everyone is talking about exploiting and making topics, blogs etc wich are not removed and everyone can read that stuff thus trying it out making it worse for other ti users. Not everyone hates twinks and not every twink is a rotten apple.

And yes i say this is a non non-twink, i hate these kinds of twinks.
