Tip for hammer of justice in this bracket.

Holypowah

Is a noob
I have seen many Paladins make a horrid mistake of using HOJ at the start of a battle against healers or other Paladins. HOJ is best served as an interrupt against heals and shouldn't be used randomly. Against a healer, using it at the start of a fight COMPLETELY wastes it.

It's only useful while chasing a EFC and forcing them to use trinket. If you use it when they heal, it will interrupt it when ether they have a trinket or not.

Depends on who else is involved in the fight.

You might want to force a trinket so someone else can cc, e.g. a mage can sheep, while you kill the EFC that's with the healer.

Using it at the start of a fight to force a trinket can be a useful strategy. Proper use of HoJ is very situational.

Yeah exactly. Sometimes against another pally you have to make sure you use it first, so when the cooldown is up you can use it again before the opponent can against you (assuming you both trinket the first ones). Although you might think this is more important for duelling, in some long-drawn out attempts to get flag return this can make a difference...

I'm afraid to say that the average pug, "even some geared ones" will trinket my War stomp, which leaves me to use HoJ to seal the deal by preventing that heal or running away. :D

And honestly, all this is kind of not seen in pugs, because if the efc is alone, then they're easy to take down, provided you have more than one on offense, and if the efc is with 2 other priests, then there really is no "quick" way. :(

I mean, in a 1v1 only an idiot would trinket a HoJ opener, though. You don't really need to trinket a prot paladins HoJ 1v1 unless you're under 700hp. HoJ is op as fuck though. Regardless of how "well" you use it, it's going to be effective.

at the start of a battle

Some healers will trinket it as a reflex, which mean they will be vulnerable to cc for 5min.

Using it at the start of the fight can be good, you'll be able to use it several time in the fight.

not if the healer are looking to save one of his teamate, about to die.

Whats wrong with interrupting his spell with HOJ while forcing a trinket?

Another Tip: If u use Divine Shield dont use HoJ next... but if target is low hp remove bubble and stun(but who would cast Divine Shield when enemy haves low hp).

Retpally vs Lvl24 rogue after they open, cast Divine Shiled--Heal--AoE--Judgement--CS--judgement--CS--TV-Stun--judgement--CS--judgement--CS--Judgement--Heal(if he uses kick)Lay on Hands--CS--TV... hes dead.

Divine Shield locks out LoH for one minute.

with all dodge and maybe miss u will take more time to complete the sequence and need more heals... i havent timed this... nvm at that sequence... it will always depend on certain things, we cant really do a sequence of a fight... maybe... /Shrug.

Go test it.

My advice would just be to use HoJ

I freely offer this advice in all caps during battles with lots of exclamation points, and sometimes cursing
