The Oceanographer still seems to be doable, but one of the fish, Raw Summer Bass, can ONLY be caught during the summer, which technically ends on September 22nd. Which is, tomorrow.

How is Second That Emotion - Achievement - World of Warcraft possible? As far as I'm reading the recipes only drop from wotlk raids or dungeons which of course we can't get into but I maybe missing something

It's incorrect. I've gotten three of four on my F2P. One off of a rare, and two farming mobs in Icecrown.

Ya I just rechecked it and was about to edit or delete my post. I only looked at the top 100 mobs drop rate wise but it is a world drop off of some mobs outside of ICC for like .2% >.<

The drop rate seems that low because it only drops if you have 350+ cooking skill and don't already know the recipe.

Do you happen to know if it has to be the 85 who has 350+ cooking? Can it drop for a f2p with 375 cooking and an 85 with 0 cooking?

My 85 that I used doesn't have cooking, and my F2P had 375. When I'd loot on my 85 it would show up, but have red around it showing that I had to loot it on my F2P toon.

By the way, Wintergrasp Ranger is absolutely achievable.

Considering also Leaning Tower, but a little less confident on this one; I don't really know all that well how WG works as I didn't play much in wotlk.

It is possible as 15 recipes are learned from the npc alone (better have some high lv items to sell for the gold) however one of the vendored recipes http://www.wowhead.com/spell=58065 has very low mat drop chance. Succulent Clam Meat - Item - World of Warcraft is contained inBrooding Darkwater Clam - Item - World of Warcraft 100% of the time but the darkwater clams is only a 0.1% drop rate at best :/

You may get stuck at 14 recipes for awhile and farming for the emotion recipes maybe quicker then the clam chowder

I got Mine Sweeper and The Northern Gourmet. For the clam, I was able to get several of them easily fishing in open water (by Unu'pe).

also would like to point out after just getting the oceanographer that the cata fish need to be looted for mobs as we cant loot them from cata fishing. it will still count towards the achievement as the abyssal clam can only be looted from mobs and cannot be fished.
