I'd have to disagree that hunter is *so much fun* and also that we got so much more spells now. Spamming arcane shot is not fun, and while locking down healers to an extent can be fun, this also becomes very boring when you still hit like a noodle and mana regen is op. I already explained before that we lost explosive, serpent (which did make sense for sv hunters). Admittidly I felt a lot better yesterday in bg with priests being nerfed, but killing a skilled healer is still near impossible.
Yes we have 3 cc's which works great against non-healers (quite op against warriors) but healers are still the kings of the bg. Anyway, not qq'ing just giving my input.
I'd say hunter is a mediocre class atm and one can have mediocre fun with it depending on what you like doing. The game as a whole reminds me of a facebook app and has been simplified way too much. Back in vanilla, wow was actually work - there were no quest helping icons, numbers, etc. - you actually had to invest some time.
But this won't change, bliz hired Robert Kotick as their CEO for a reason: $. He is known to not play his games, focus on money, raise prices (he has stated if it was up to him he would up the prices for wow), and target casuals for mass profit optimization.
Sorry for being gloomy -_-.
