Rogue FC set 5.0.4

Are rogue FCs (in pugs ofc) using a furbolg pouch in oh? Dawnblade or Kris? +15 agility or maybe crusader or life stealing on such fast weapons? If somebody could post an armory or chardev, it'd be much appreciated :)

FCing right now is primarily about superior awareness. Know where your healers are. Watch the cc and los on your healers and strafe accordingly so you don't range those 1500 FoLs. Learn to terrain to peel melee and pets, and to bottleneck enemies for ccs. Learn to juke and fake. In short, no don't use a pouch on a rogue; never cripple yourself for a few extra hp. Use max stam gear that also provides your base dps stats, for example switching to bristlebark gloves, leggings of the fang, seal of sylvanus, grizzled boots, stamina chest and bracer enchant, and stamina boot enchant after stacks gimp speed. While FCing right now you must keep moving to avoid being locked down in a pile of hard hitting warriors. Use all your ccs, and distance the dps as soon as you see that they are cced. Since as a rogue you are at best a temporary FC, prepare to pass strategically. Its best to pass immediately following a cc, whether its a fear, a stomp or whatever. Watch for charge picks. Remember that is you choose to pick up a flag as a nonhealer, it is irrelevant whether you are skillcapped or not; your survival is dependent on your healers skill level, positioning, and awareness. Watch the healers that pug regularly and learn their strengths and weaknesses.

Use furblog pouch and Kris... Unless you plan on standin still and fighting their offense like an idiot. After stacks maybe use two Kris, but really you should focus on kiting an not letting people hit you.

You want max stam, more stam the higher recup tics youll get, basicly like a priest renew, shouldnt worry too much about dodge but more of all dmg such as caster more stam the better, but use kris and blog

Since recups are percent based this makes no difference if you have 1000 hp and get 26 recup ticks or 4000 hp and get 250 recup ticks. Resilience will significantly reduce damage taken by all sources making your 46 recup ticks more gamechanging when you're only losing 30 hp as opposed to losing 60 and still getting 46 recup ticks.

Dual kris for resil no questions asked... if you're max stam and have about 2400 hp you will die quicker than if you had around 2200 hp + an extra 10% resil or so.

Also 15 agil x2 on fc weapons is much more viable than anything else since you can dodge ranged attacks now.

Ilce and Mocha are right.

Okay so you think that the Furbolg's Medicine Pouch is better than a Sharpened Scarlet Kris in offhand for FCing simply because you say you "survive longer than other people"???? Here is why you are incorrect and I am 100% correct. Take my word it and don't try to fight against my factual mathematic proof:

Check the official 5.0.4 rogue guide, looks like it's dual scarlet kris thats bis. If you increase your resil by 40%, the amount of damage you take is reduced by 40 percent, which in theory increases your hp by 40%....

a 2030 hp fc with 48% resil has 3004 hp and a 41.33% chance to dodge attacks
a 2089 hp fc with 46% resil has 3050 hp and a 36.31% chance to dodge attacks and takes 2% more damage every time there is any incoming damage

3050
- 3004
46 hp

So using the pouch gives you 46 more hp in theory

Lets say incoming damage at 48% resil = 900

Against 48% resil and 2030 hp:
Damage = 900 = 44% of your hp with 41.33 % chance to dodge attacks

Against 46% resil and 2089 hp:
Damage = 918 = 44% of your hp with 36.31 % chance to dodge attacks

41.33
- 36.31
5.02

46 / 5 = 9.2 damage per hit.

that means out of 100 attacks, you will take 5 more attacks than someone with 41.33% dodge would... unless those 5 attacks that you don't dodge are for less 9.2 damage per hit, the loss of dodge will be much more substantial than the gain of 46 hp by equipping Furbolg's Medicine Pouch in offhand over Sharpened Scarlet Kris + 15 agility.

In addition to that you will constantly be taking 2% more damage every single time there is incoming damage.

You stand informed.

You should probably add that it goes even further in favor of dual kris if you include the fact that you don't just take damage equal to the size of your health pool. Due to heals you actually take way more damage which makes mitigation even stronger.
