Premade Comp?

Khaos

Dare to be Optimistic
I know there are guilds not interested to much about disclosing there team set ups but considering how balanced the bracket is Im curious to know what people are thinking? I also know its to close to the MoP expac to think about setting anything in stone, the expansion always changes things. But considering what we have right now.....what do you think is best? My Opinion

Defense
Like the Wrath kiting Defense
FC-Rdruid
Healer-Rshaman
Healer-Disc Priest
CC-Frost Mage

Offense is a different story as I dont get to play much offense and dont know to much but this is what I got so far

BM Hunter
Sub Rogue
Affliction Warlock
Disc Priest
Arcane Mage
Balance Druid

My thought process comes down to a lot of cc, and with the Rogue, and Boomkin I think theres enough burst to drop a FC when the stacks are High. Thoughts? Suggestions are always welcome as I am kinda green behind the ears.

IMO, will be interesting to see what people play with and how premades go in 5.0

I would say a Guardian specced Druid would be a more desired FC. Much more armor and damage mitigation then a Rdruid. You could make the argument that Rdruid could help heal, but the last thing you want is a leather wearing FC out of Bear form. Also, when having a kiting defense, that damage mitigation is going to be much nicer to have when 4 stacks hits.
Also, Hpal would probably be a better healer then Disc Priest in a "kiting" defense. Pursuit of justice will help him keep up and Disc priest will just slow the team down. One last thing, a second rogue might be a better choice then an afflic warlock. Just because polys and saps and BM hunter ccs will be more then enough.

First off we don't know how good monks of any spec will end up being and having to fit in one or possibly 2 will throw off any theorycrafting about comps we do now. That plus every class getting hit with such big changes means that we won't know very much until MoP hits and premades start up again so that people can test out different comps.

I don't know about any other guilds, but we plan on trying out a wide array of comps and tactics and are hoping that the premades will be as plentiful and fun as at the end of Cata.

If you're really that interested in premades though the best thing you can do is get a team together yourself and test out what different comps work for you and your team in an actual premade environment and theorycraft from there.

Lock should be destro - aff is counter-intuitive right now with cc being so important.

Demo can do comparatively well to destro as far as CC on O goes because you have more mobility and an instant cast AoE slow (which stacks if you use it twice consecutively). The damage is less but I think CC'ing would be easier.

Demo is definitely nice. It also see it having potential against static defenses with aura of enfeeblement. That said, destro can sustain extremely high single target damage.

i think premade class rules should be adjusted. i find it funny to see a limit on no more than 2 stealth classes and when it comes healers due to the class rule can have 4-6 healers.

curious of when it comes to stealth classes are all druids included or play style limited? reason i say this is because now all druids got mangle, rake, ferocious bite, get the 2 AP per 1 agi, and any spec druid can go into a feral gear set-up, feral charge in stealth, do a serious opener- then bleed and switch to caster gear etc.

saw a bal druid pulling this off 2 days ago with great success and was talking in BG chat that he was surprized that res/bal druids had mangle. this was feral only before, i didn't know blizz did this, before they had claw which was more energy costly and less damage

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing as well. They can make a pretty good pug FC (for a clothie) if you have the right gear. Potentially the new 'Frost Mage FC of Cata' in MoP.

This would be fun to theory craft and test after the release of MoP! I can imagine many great options depending on what your guildies play best.

train cow is brewing up a comp that has never been seen before in the warsong gulch. this comp will change 19s forever

these are both flawed. You cannot have 2 druids and a rog.

the stealth rule should be abolished, it was only in existence due to the BAR and having two mages on o just shows the laCk of braincells used to devise such a subpar comp

m8x

stealth rule should probably remain if we're looking at games going to so many stacks.

Rules should be:
Limit 1 Spec of each class (ie you can run a resto druid and a boomkin but not 2 boomkin)
2 stealth (maybe 3) limit
