I beg to differ. smart healers were more game changing then hunts back in cata and when I had that healer who was on D with me with flag or going O with me to get efc instead of just mid healing I would normally thank them every single time or say gj. The current Hpals seems like they just know how to hit holy shock and denounce instead of actually healing but can't exactly blame them. There has always been people who specced hpal just to exo spam and now that exo is gone and holy shock is 2 shotting everything they think they are just dps.
Until Hpals get the nerf (hopfully tomorrow) don't expect many to know how to play their class as majority of them will be people who rolled for the easy dmg.

Well a healer is so OP a 24 cata BiS hunter could not burst a f2p BiS hpal or disc priest if the priest pops a shield before the fight begins.Unless the hunter is berzerking. Im not even going to mention f2p hunters..why it probably seemed to you that healers were so almighty and gamechanging.Its herbalism/mindblast/penance/holy fire and 1300 life gone in 5 seconds.Priests and hpals were deceivingly powerful.
But thats why i ran 4 hunters..thats how much firepower it took to global a 24 prot/hpal/priest.4vs1 eh.Now its 5x times worse.
As u well know i used to have a alliance priest.Then id come in heal some poor souls and get furstrated because of ' retarded dps'''.If you see my hunter was made 1/30/12.Pretty recent date.I was essentially ''forced'' to roll a DPS class because most players dont even understand how this game works.Then i found a healer to my liking.We did bgs together.He converted to prot with intellect gear to silence/etc.Amazing utility. Found out there still wasnt enough firepower and converted to 24.Still many retards and I had trouble going 2vs10 I resorted to multiboxing. That solved 5 retards in a bg immediately and eased as 5vs10 is somewhat manageable but you are still at the mercy of rng. Was I able to outperform almost any premade?Yes.Did I 5-0 every single known or somewhat known player in this bracket?Yes(Except kale and lofi i never got to meet them on my horde toons and i didnt necessary ''5-0'' some of the allaince players).
Now i dont consider myself the best dps in cata but i was able to outdo ANY dps in the US 20I-24 bracket.My healer was god.We didnt even need to use vent anymore it was so smooth 99% of the time. He knew when to silence,who to silence i didnt even need to talk.I also did not need 3-4 healers like AP usually queues.
But I just wish the random healers we get in a bg were like my pocket .when i get on my f2p toons.but do you really think thats gonna happen?
Now dont think i didnt have a hunter until like april I had one in august but i deleted him due to college,irl,etc.Yes i like my wall of text.

ALL paladins (regards of spec) should use Decursive - Buffs & Debuffs
It makes cleansing trivial.
However don't expect pug paladins to know this.
Most of hpallys atm are hunters in disguise.
So tbh don't expect much of a healing in pugs when you see 7 hpallys... prob 1 of them knows to heal and cleanse.
(yea, they (hpallys) took their (hunter's) jobs!

Never needed Decurse before. I think the Default options blizzard gives for seeing and dispelling removable curses/magic debuffs is good enough for my shaman, although I would happily trade a curse cleanse for a poison cleanse which is more useful in this bracket. because seriously, how many warlocks do you actually see per game? and out of those, how many are affliction?
On a side note, having a magic cleanse adds a little depth to the healing class, since you can support classes like rogues and warriors who have no way to remove roots and snare magic effects from themselves. it will certainly make arenas more interesting, instead of watching team mates sit in roots, stuns, fears and sheep while you get beat on.
