This happened just a few seconds ago.

I queued on my 20 Goblin Hunter for Blackfathom Deeps & The Stockade.

I get Blackfathom Deeps, we get to the first boss, Ghamoora.

The belt drops. It contains 7 stamina and 7 intellect, which is supposedly BiS for CC built Hunters as listed in Iaccidentlytwink's guide.

I needed on it, and the group was like, "WTF, why did you need on it?"

I simply explained that I am a Free-to-Play trial account Hunter and it's the best belt for PvP at this level.

Of course, the amount of morons in this world, I get 4 of them. They have no idea what I'm talking about in terms of F2P and said, "Okay, need on the Algae Fists since you'll use them at 40" obviously not understanding what F2P/trial is.

They also made comments like, "It's cloth and has intellect moron."

I proceeded to explain why it's best for the 7 stamina in comparison to any other belt at this level.

Seriously, there should be an I.Q. test required to live.
 
tbh if i were a healer i would have been semi pissed. I remember how many gamora' runs it took me to get my belt ..like 7 or 8.The agility dps would either roll need or something and id get furstraed because i couldnt solo him,etc.
Eventually i gave up doing dungeons ''with randoms'' and brought my own mutliple accounts and friends in a dungeon, now i almost exclusively queue with friends to rush me for the needed items or powerlevel through
I dunno you put yourself in a weird situation i wouldnt explain anything just ninja and GTFO

But i guess you could count me in as one of the morons because i would've been upset(not many people know about trials/f2p and the changes in the bracket that stamina stacking on a hunter is BiS)

PS there is tarantula silk sash with 8 stam but gl getting one , and 10 stamina statchel belts exist aswell
 
Leather satchel belts don't come in the stam variety. And I wouldn't call ghamoo's BiS. Of the Monkey is 6/6. 1 stam is not better than 6 agility. Ever. NEVER. You shouldn't have needed on that, they were rightfully upset.

Haha, now I feel like an ass. Haven't played since like the beginning of WotLK when you had to run to your heroics and raids.

Didn't know there was a 6/6 belt from the trade bag. :(

Saw that guide MoP updated and assumed it was accurate. Then again, he's going straight stamina and sacrificing everything lol.

Nah, I wouldn't. I looked at this group as morons because they were acting like they knew everything yet they didn't understand what I was talking about. One of them also claimed to be the best Hunter on Ysera realm.

How is fang better? you lose 2 stamina, 5 agi and 5 crit while only gaining 4 expertise with the fang instead of the old bis..

Idk what makes the 7/7 sta/int belt even considered close to bis or even why the 6/6 sta/agi belt is bis.. Id rather have the 5/5/5 sta/agi/crit before any of the belts mentioned
