Important Cooldowns after 5.0.4

I think it would be helpful to make note of the important cooldowns in the new patch, also making note of how you adapt with them. I'll try to be active in aggregating responses into the first post on this thread, and generate helpful formatting for it in time. I like the site and I need more reasons to come back regularly anyways. ^-^

To start, I think one to note presently is the 6 sec cool down on Holy Shock. Obviously, after the first one hits, you need to have a response in the next 6 seconds or CC at 5.8 seconds to buy a little more time. Sadly, getting behind them does nothing, Holy Shock still hits. How does your race/class deal? As an Hpal, how do you deal with players going to respond? Strangely, I see a lot of Holy Paladins just trying to do weak sauce damage in the interim spamming their new (exorcism-forget name)

Another I'd like to mention is the Resto Sham's Purify Spirit, which is now an 8 sec cool down spell. This makes DoT's a bit more powerful when spread onto multiple targets.

I just use a simple

/cast [@player] Roar of Sacrifice
casts roar of sacrifice on yourself without losing either your or your pet's target. I also have a
Code:
/cast [@mouseover] Roar of Sacrifice]
for teammates.
