Good news about Mounts, and what it might mean in the variety of mounts for F2P

So, if some of you don't know, most mounts excluding class specific and PvP mounts will be Account bound and accessible to all characters, regardless of reputation with that race. It ALSO means that mounts will no longer have a level requirement (I think some still will) like the Swift Mistsaber, and Swift horse mounts. it will be regulated when mounted on a lower level character to reduce the speed to the appropriate amount, so e.g swift White Steed's 100% speed increase will be bumped down to 60% for level 20's and such. However all that still leaves is the price. which shouldn't be a problem as most races should have exalted with their own race. And right now the price is 10g at friendly the specific race. and you only have to buy it once for it to be available to toons on your account.


NOTE: Horde cannot have Alliance mounts, and vice versa. Besides that, it should be pretty much gravy from this point on.

2nd Note: Titles will be account-wide as well. That means no more Ambassador grinding, or hallowed grinding, although I don't really know what the criteria for that title is. MoP is out on the 25th of September, which means the stuff on PTR Will be coming to live soon, and I hope to see you all there! :3

3rd Note: World event titles don't seem to be included in the subject of account-wide titles, so you still have to grind those haha.

when i transfered my main character and my f2p to ptr i was able to ride my swift white hawkstrider and chopper ...

bloodsail admiral title was also avaible but none of the world event titles :/

Yep so basically a trial now doesnt have to do or grind anything as long as they have it on their 85. once they get gear their job is done... 2 week old trial with insane inc

That's (hopefully) because those titles aren't copied over to the ptr.

You can link up the accounts relatively easily. If the accounts have the same name, it's a battle.net process - if not, call customer service and they will link them for you.

Im sorry if there was a thread about this, I didn't see it.

As for the Linked accounts, I'm not entirely sure. I only know the general info about the mounts, as for the RBG mounts, I'm sure they classified those as "PVP mounts" so those will not be useable by other toons.

I thought seeing a level 34 warrior for example with brutal glad gear was dumb from transmog but seeing a level 34 warrior with a chopper tops the cake. hate me if u will i find it really stupid

A 34 warr cant x-mog 70+ pvp gear
you can only x-mog items you can equip, and are the same armor type

Im happy with the change for the sake of my F2P twinks getting more variety in their mounts/companions.

But in most ways, I agree that this change is going to take a lot of the fun and 'uniqueness' out of the fluff which is a shame.

BTW dude Im so stoked that you have Cappa in your av he's so underrated but he's one of my top 5 favorite mcs.
