Anyone else notice a steadily increasing number of 24s and hunters(primarily on alliance)?
I used to be able to tolerate the occasional 24 in a BG, but lately it's been the norm to have around 5 24's in a single WSG, which as a f2p mage is completely unplayable. Seems like peoples greed for OPness has destroyed this bracket completely for me, it used to be tolerable but its got to a point where I'm basically useless in BG's because I'm being 1 shotted by 24 hunts and rogues constantly. I noticed in the average AB alliance is AT LEAST 50% hunters, and many of the rest are pallys*sigh*.

I'm playing on EU atm, whats the state of the bracket on US?

US is pretty much the same, hard to NOT queue into a 5man 24 premade on either side some days.

Also, part of the problem might be that you have 800 hp :/

Grass is always greener on the other side. When I play horde, alliance has more 24s/hunters. When I play alliance, horde has more 24s/hunters. Just how the bracket works :p

Very, very true :L

However, even when I played alliance I used to get pissed at the number of pallys and hunts we'd have on occasion-it makes for such an easy win that it's not remotely fun

I'm go go out on a limb and say that on avg, alliance has 110 more hp and much better hit chances than horde

Basically all I do is pug now on my main, and I've been seeing a lot of WSG games the last few days. There are a lot of 24s, but then again I get plenty of games where the Ally team is full 20s.

I think people are letting "sampling bias' taint a lot of what they think about WSG comps in this bracket.

Basically I only pug and I'd say 80% of the games are super fun and competitive. There will always be that one guy who sees a couple 24s on the opposing team, QQs in battleground chat and AFKs out of the game before he even tries. But after they've left the game goes on and usually its fun. Sometimes its exciting to have to try and raid a 24 FC or square off against a 24 mage in mid or something.

Other times, the enemy team is so horribly unbalanced that it just rolls us over but for the most part, those games end quickly and life goes on. I have a really hard time understanding the attitude of guys I've played with on AP who can't handle losing or even a single death very well. Everybody has the right to enjoy the game in their own way but for myself, I find the most fun thing is to just play the games and try to earn wins.
