  • Is there any must have gear as a hunter. I aready hav ethe 15 AP sword.

If that's your opinion for BiS then yup you need to be horde, most hunters prefer to focus on crit as that's where their burst comes from.

Meh you are putting the guy in doubt about the sword. Losing that little amount of crit from 1 weapon you replace with the outlaw sabre is sooo small and he gains more base damage and dps with a little crit loss but increases his crit damage. Outlaw sabre is bis, its not opinion, no doubt about that in any build and specially for bm's. Full crit setup in general is rather dumb because you will lose alot base damage aka your moves will do lesser damage because you drop agi/ap for crit and you cant simply just rely on a % chance to proc when ever you want. A little bonus on top of that you can put frost or shadow oil on this sabre if we are talking about % chance to proc this will make this sabre 100% bis.

In the end its your choice if you want base damage or crit. I can only tell you the above and that when i run in my normal used setup i do more damage then in my full crit gear.

Op you might want to take deftkin belt with you from horde; Deftkin Belt - Item - World of Warcraft

I agree, hence why I said it depends on what you're focusing with your hunter.
For clarifications sake I was presuming he was playing survival, I would agree that a crit set up for BM is not nearly as affective as a set based around AP, and if he's looking to play BM, then get the sword by all means.
