...to help me take screenshots of chest locations!


I have been working on this project for a few months now, and I believe that I am close enough to completion to warrant this thread. I have been taking screenshots of every single chest location I can since December to make a guide more comprehensive than we have yet seen. I am making this thread to ask for screenshots of specific locations which I or someone else has confirmed a chest spawn at, but I have not been able to capture. I am also looking for confirmations of chest spawns that I personally have never seen, or even spawns unknown to wowhead. ( I have found them before, so it's possible [: )


Anyway, lets get started. These are the 6 maps of chest locations I regularly check. Yes, you heard me, 6!

I am looking for certain screenshots/chest location confirmations:


Ashenvale
- Chest spawn screenshots at any location INSIDE the furbolg cave north of Hellscream's Watch

Stonetalon Mountains
- Screenshot of the spawn by the lumber mill and the waterfall water wheel southwest of "The Fold"
- Screenshot of the spawn at Stonetalon Peak

Duskwood
- Chest spawn screenshots for any location except Brightwood Grove and The Rotting Orchard

Hillsbrad Foothills
- Chest spawn confirmation/screenshots of chests inside the yeti cave
- Screenshot of the chest spawn in Strahnbrad inside the inn

Arathi Highlands
- Screenshots of chest spawns inside Stromgarde Keep

Wetlands
-Screenshots at the Angerfang Encampment



Post will be updated as screenshots are posted/messaged to me. Thanks will be given to all contributors to my thread as well as to the previous creators/information providers in the previous threads.

I'm just going to post one screenshot to give you an idea what I'm looking for:

The general thing I'm looking for is a zoomed out picture, with hidden ui that shows the chest and the surrounding area fairly well.

Is there a way you could include an indication of what the chest is likely to contain? Also what if the information changes over time?
 
Ashenvale in demon fall, 2 spots right above the f in fall

I don't think they'll be adding chest spawns. They will contain appropriate level blues and lower for the zones they are in, so 20-25 zones will have mostly 15-20 blues, which is good for us. 25-30 zones will contain mostly 20-25 blues, and occasionally 15-20 blues.

Let me know what you need from ashenvale, I run that on 3 diff realms everyday, skipping the caves. I do know of a chest in furblog cave down bu the water.
 
Stormgarde keep, 23.67 have ss will upload tomorrow after work.

And ss of sludge fields/field in wagon.

That's exactly the point of this. You may just be looking in the wrong spots, while you're at the dot on the map. this will allow you to be sure you got the chest, or that there wasnt one there
 
Should make a list of chests which you can only get as healer or visa versa. No point going into a cave as Mage or Warlock for example.
