    • i have been farming and farming, looting everything. i know how rare it is but someone said it only drops off boss's and chests not just any mob.
    can anyone clarify this for me and possibly save a lot of time.
     
    Yes, it can only drop off of 3 or 4 bosses in the instance. Someone did the math before, and it has a chance around 1 in 1000 of dropping in any given SFK run.
     
    It is 1/1000? I remember hearing it was a lot lower, but w.e you are going to be farming it for a long ass time.
     
    still loot chests tho..you never know what you'll find. good way to start up a bank for your guild, might pick up a redbeards here and there along with other blues

    just keep farming it, only costs ur sub fee and when you take a break you wont regret the money you wasted on a virtual item cause "bis is bis"

    4 bosses + rare spawn, only mobs level 21+ can drop it.

    I have gotten a zone exclusive drop from these chests before (Assassin's Blade), may be worth checking the chests.

    Edit:
    Back when AB had required level 19 and ilevel 24, same as Shadowfang which is the only thing that can influence drop rate, ilevel.

    (Yes that means it was a 50/50 shot at being either AB or SF)

    Unless someone has sources proving that zone drops no longer can drop from chests, I would suggest checking the chests too.

    wish i had my old twink from BC, had two assassins blades and shadowfang, the 40 stam w/e agil it was. another acct i use to have but no idea what the info is on it
