Every WSG today... *sigh*

It honestly seems like every winning pug I get into just wants to GY farm, and it's always my job to hang around the horde base and steal the third flag, then cap it myself, meanwhile getting called every derogatory name that 14-year-olds know. (Protip: Calling someone a 'hoe' is not an insult.)

It's kind of annoying that I have to take the high road when the rest of the team wants to be scrubs. I understand that I should do premades and I won't have this problem, but honestly I can't do premades, so I still pug. Anyone else have this problem?

You're seeing a problem that's one result of Alliance having to wait in queue so long.

People want honor, and while Horde can get it fastest by 3 capping and getting into another BG almost instantly, the only way to get it as efficiently as an Alliance player, is to get as much as you can out of every BG pop, which means farming, because the wait for the next BG seriously reduces the honor you can get in the time you're online.

LMAO... Again tonight, Preeztess is the bane of Alliance WSG!

I understand you get more honor by farming, but you also make more profit if you don't pay your employees... Doesn't make it right.

I don't like it when the horde farm me, therefore, BE THE CHANGE I WISH TO SEE IN OTHERS.

Good on ya for being the better person! I have had this happen to me a couple times in the last couple days. But you just explain to people what you are doing and how farming ruins the bracket; etc so on and so forth and then go cap it. Seems like mostly worse geared players always ask to farm ("So I can get BOA's") but had a couple 24's yelling at me the other night for capping....

The reasons I give for capping the 3rd flag:

Kharma is a b*tch.

Let's just win while we still can.

And on Alliance:

Cap, because if we don't they'll get frustrated and stop queuing.

You definitely see this less on horde because the games pop right away, but ppl still want to do it as payback for when the alliance has done it to them. :(

I experience this often on alliance. I think part of the problem is that people are of the mindset that if your team is better you have 'the right' to farm. I've literally heard pugs say that - like, it's our turn to farm honor now. What needs to change is the mindset of people who think that is the reward for winning. Or implement - I don't remember who said it, but it was interesting - a forfeit function or something like it for the team being farmed.

The answer to a whole heap of problems caused by faction imbalance is to roll Horde until the sides are balanced. If you roll Alliance, you're still contributing to the problems, regardless of how you play in BGs.

The only way to avoid that as Alliance is to never queue for BGs, and only PvP in arenas.

I have a huge problem with how Blizzard develop PvP with complete disregard for fair play, and don't seem to care how obnoxious their players are to each other, hence:

I think all but the most sociopathic individuals would agree that they'd enjoy BGs if losing just meant a loss, not a loss + 25 minuts of getting farmed, sitting outside a GY avoiding a rez, or taking a deserter debuff.

It would also do wonders for queues and people's willingness to pay for the game, to have BGs end quicker if they're that badly imbalanced that a GY farm can occur. More people would want to queue for BGs if they were more enjoyable, and the consequences associated with a possible loss wasn't such a major disincentive to play them.

I get that long queues make some people want to get the most honor possible out of a BG.

This is in my opinion just perpetuating long queues.
In the long run: new F2Ps get turned off either playing Horde side, or queueing for BGs at all.
In the short run, impacting your immediate experience: people stop queueing, people get deserter and take a break, PVP-enthusiasts who want a win log over to Alliance toons and make the queue even longer.

Respect to Preeztess, Insects, and all Alliance who don't subscribe to this. :)

It isn't Alliance only so I don't think its a matter of queue time, but more of, as already stated, they "deserve" it. Can't be more wrong, because these are mostly people who are getting carried anyway already, either by class or other players.

the biggest problem is, atleast half of this bracket arent actually twinks. not just talking gearwise, but skillwise. alot of people in this bracket never played a twink before, so alot of people are probably new to the game, or they stopped paying for wow (or cant) and just end up in the bracket.

u obviously havent play with alliance queues

You get more honor from 5 minute 3cap wins than u do with a 25 minute farming.

We've been over this before hunter.

Listen guys. There are three objectives in wsg listed in order of importance:

1. Graveyard farm as much as possible
2. Make sure Kale does not play for the whole duration of the game
3. Run around in a large mid-pack making sure that no horde can go anywhere
