You can honestly just stop. Many of us (the people who aren't lost) have explained with deep rationals as too how and why these gems actually could promote a better bracket.
Your ego is hurting because you are being shown up on a twink forum just how little you understand about balance and the specific subject of these sockets.
Its alright to be unable to form rational thought when you are under fire of such an onslaught but don't let your throbbing ego shroud your vision and stop you from learning.

Sure thing, if everyone using them would use only resilience gems to reduce the burst damage. That is the rallying cry behind the support for these gems, right? To level out the burst and balance things a bit better? Explain to me then why the 4 players I listed that play easily the 3 most overpowered classes in the bracket aren't utilizing resilience gems? Mage, rogue and hunter using gems to further increase their burst? That's not an attempt to level out anything, that's simply doing anything possible to gain an unfair advantage over others who haven't done the same.
I would support these gems if everyone resorted to using just the resilience because I am in agreement that it might help to level out damage some. That's obviously not the case here. This has nothing to do with any (incorrectly) perceived ego that you claim I have.

I'm not lost at all, I'm fully aware of what I'm saying and what's being said in opposition. Why don't one of you champions give us some numbers, do some testing and show that resilience gems will stop burst like you claim or that the damage gain from using the other gems is negligible when met with resilience?
Clearly you're too stupid to know the different between too and to, so perhaps you should stop trying as well friend.

I think it's perfectly legitimate to discuss the ramifications of using these gems within the bracket, in relation to the current issues caused by burst damage, resistances, and lack of other tools to balance those things. I wouldn't fault anyone for deciding to use this exploit to better their characters in the meantime while we wait for action from Blizzard on this matter.
However, I can't help but bring up future plans that will do wonders towards fixing the issues we have at low levels in general. In MoP, resistances and spell pen are both being removed from the game, while all characters will have 30% base resilience. At this point, using the gem exploit is a band aid fix to hold players over until the exploit gets fixed between now and when 5.0 rolls out.
Given the time frame of the press release and the end of the average end of end game activity in the past, we might very well see 5.0 between June/August. Of course, it can't come soon enough, but that's just the nature of things.
Personally, as much as I would love to utilize the gem exploit to my benefit, I CBF to participate in that activity, knowing a permanent fix is coming soon.

The main argument against the gems seems to be that people are using damage gems. You get 25% damage reduction for dual 20 resil gems (40 resil total). There is just no way 40 intellect or strength or agility or w/e would top that damage reduction, so bitching about how people are using the damage ones instead of the resil ones is stupid, because they're essentially nerfing themselves compared to resil gemmers. Still waiting for a good argument against using gems.
