Should the bracket move away from Bleeding Hollow?

Our thoughts behind having everyone on the same server was to allow easier access to premades, same faction premades, and an active arena scene. This has been spoiled though because War Game battlegrounds don't work for experience off players anymore and for some reason Blizzard refuses to fix it. :(
 
from my standpoint it came down to not enjoying bleeding hollow. the attitude and expectations of being able to be the best possible just wasnt my field to be in. BH is a competitive server at 19s and some people dont look for that. i x-ferred away from bleeding hollow for reasons like that. it comes down to the type of player u are or want to be rather than having to be perfect at least from my experience there. other people have different experiences but its taken too seriously for some on Bh it seems

Though if skimishs came back pizza it would be a even less reason to be in same realm because everyone and anyone can fight each other on any realm if that where the case.

Yes, but there's a slim to none chance they are coming back.
 
bleeding hollow is a "hub" for 19's...... not "the hub". look at players servers prior to the BG starting and you will realize quickly and over time there are alot of servers with huge twink populations

RUIN battlegroup had the largest 10-19 bracket, when blizz rolled XP on/off, it wasn't "the RUIN migration" that made the battlegroup "the HUB" of servers to be on which BH is one. it was if you wanted games and weren't on RUIN....you pretty much had to migrate.

if all these so called previous hubs were so great, had so much action, there would have been no need to migrate...exactly

I highly agree with this. I have entertained hopping servers all the time but just by hanging out in goldshire dueling 20-40s and sitting on Stormwind bank steps and in and outside the AH, you start to get interest. A lot of the comments I get are "Is 19's even active anymore? I leveled my 19 twink because queues were so bad when xp off bg's were introduced". Dath'Remar used to be a great 19 server on Bloodlust and I'm pretty much the only one left. However just staying here on Dath and getting noticed by people has started to see the population return. In the last few weeks i've seen Substep, a great rogue I haven't seen since early Wrath start playing again, a lot of new blood that have even started contesting each other for AGM and 19s, good or bad, hanging around goldshire. Although giving advice to the new comers does get boring, I always put the bracket first and aim to make Dath'Remar a once again thriving 19 server.

Everybody else should do the same.

We were looking more for players who already had their AGMs. Is more of an established twink realm. You make your twink and then move it over.
 
People want to win and will avoid losing at all costs, even if it means not premading at all. I have to give credit to Brown for not giving a damn whether he wins or loses and just gets premades going, regardless of outcomes. We need more guilds to not care what TI says about their premade and just play to have friciken fun. Stop waiting till you have the perfect 10 to premade, and just get out there and get activity going.

One of the problems is the difficulty of compiling a guild. Old twinks want to stick to their BC guns and try to revive their old guilds, while new twinks aren't knowledgeable enough/serious enough to xfer to a different realm. This leaves individual twinks speckled across multiple realms. Even in this thread we've had 2-3 different advertisements for guilds, I don't think of which any are on the premade scene, and some not even close.

The fact of the matter is that no one wants to play alone. You transfer to a guild with multiple people, and that's what leads to twinks congregating on certain servers. The BH migration led to a lot of different guilds, and when arguments started to happen ego's got in the way and multiple guilds have disbanded. I'm sure other, larger guilds on the server have absorbed some of these twinkers, which doesn't really help the premade scene.

Completely misinterpreted, Community Leader.
I am talking about the return of 19s that are putting in effort to get bis and start again. But that is neither here nor there, in answer to OP's question, people SHOULD stop hugging BH and go somewhere to increase the brackets interest and in time bring back it's former glory.
 
No worries. Cenarius had over 5 players return just today. Time to update their gears and knock off the rust. We will soon be up to speed again to do premades.

I agree that people need to go back home and start to rebuild. Will people do it? Probably not. It has taken a long time to get new interest and regrab twink friends from back in the day as they log on alts etc to recheck out wow. Will the efforts be worth it? Imo yes it will be. Spring break is upon us now and MANY will be rechecking in. Grab em and que up no matter the outcome.
 
I don't understand why people think that just because you go where you see the most BiS People you are one of the BiS people. <Owned> on Thrall was bringing itself up again in 4.2 cata then we had people stop playing and xfer again. Now im sitting alone with almost full BiS (Missing AGM) and have nothing to do. It needs to be more open like it used to be in BC where you saw people from everywhere.
 
How to fix the 19 Bracket

Step 1. Stop giving a fuck about losing a premade.
Step 2. Everyone that can find 10-15 19s on their server, create a guild. Start premading.
Step 3. Don't give Pizza's guild any games. Eventually their good players will leave to play with guilds getting games.
Step 4. Prosper

Do you remember that bad guild called Twink Info on Medivh? Yes? That guild did over 20 premades in a 3 month period, lost most of them, but had a fucking awesome fun time doing it. Yep. Fun even though we lost a lot. Oh and FB with wuvz kind of had the same thing happening too.

What y'all need a leader of your community that doesn't talk out of the side of their mouth like Pizza does.

Child, you obviously misinterpreted my post completely. I'm looking for ways of how to improve the bracket. Do I believe they are going to release The Burning Crusade again? No. What I suggest you do is:

1) Read My Thread
2a) Respond with a comment that is on topic.

or

2b) Don't respond.

This thread is about looking forwards, if you actually read the thread then you'd know that. If you have read it and you cannot see that this thread is all about advancement from where we are at now, then I would suggest you stop keysmashing through your ego and actually think about the thread.
 
I started twinking on a server with a very limited twinking community. There were a total of 5 alliance twinks and 0 horde twinks on that server. When wrath hit queues didnt pop for me for the better part of a year so I can definitely see the benefit of having a large twinking community all on the same server.

Migrating to Bleeding Hollow was supposed to alleviate the hassle of having to sync 4 BG queues at the same time. Anybody who sat through the 2 hour wait Laughing skull and Lethal Synergy went through last Saturday to premade can appreciate that. Unfortunately there are some issues with programming and war games are broken but the intent was still there.

Do I think having so many guilds and twinks on the same server is detrimental to the bracket? Not at all. Whats detrimental is the mentality of these twinks that swap guilds every other day instead of building a relationship with their guild. having people transfer servers to "force" them to stay in a guild seems like its trying to fix the wrong problem.

I have been twinking since early BC.. I made a lvl 1 yesterday and inquired about joining a guild in BH. All I got was go away only elites are allowed in BH guilds. I don't know what's the problem with letting someone in a guild and letting them prove themselves.. I wanted to xfer one of my 85s and all my boa gear to the server but I guess I wasn't welcome there... End qq now
