Glacial Stone

Would using a glacial stone and putting frost oil on it be good compared to a BAR? The top end is higher on the stone and has a proc and an additional one with the oil. It would also put a slow on the target which would be great for arms warriors and ret pallies.

I know the loss in stats could be crucial but it might be cool to try out.

I believe the math was done out somewhere and BAR still sustained an overall higher dps. Don't quote me though, ill do some digging to check for sure.

Ah alright, you can also use shadow oil for more dps.. but that kind of just defeats the point in the first place.

Icy Chill is an absolute waste of effort as the proc is next to never. The weapon proc in itself isn't reliable either and simply does not match up to BAR. So I just equip mine when I'm bored out of my mind.


in other words my luvley fellow tinkers, its just not worth dropping significant gain from BAR and hoping that the "benefits" of a mediocre weapon proc and worthless weapon enchant kick in by the time the 25 minutes in a gulch is up

Since I have some spare scrolls lying around I think I'll try this tonight chilleh, though is the frost oil a rare recipe? Cause I'm gonna have to try and source it when I get back from uni quite late tonight.

i pref it over BoR, i have wpn dmg on mine and when i get a big crit with the proc its like wtf just happened
