Chardev for feral

...and here's on more thing....what happens when Ferocious Bite is Dodged? There's a guy in here that suggests combo-point-using abilities don't get their energy refunded...so a Dodge on Ferious Bite would blow our energy AND dump all our points.

...can't say that I know one way or the other. I can't say that I've ever noticed (or not noticed) a Dodge on a Ferocious Bite. But I have tossed a Ferocious Bite before and then though "man, where was the damage?"....in the heat-of-it I don't usually pay attention to the yellow floating damage numbers, just what his health-bar looks like...could have been a heal involved...or a Dodge...no idea.

Enemy players cannot dodge attacks from behind. With movement speed as feral you should never have an issue staying behind someone whether they are backpeddling or backstrafing or using any other method to get the fuck away from you.

For me and my skills, staying behind someone i'm trying to burn down is most definitely an issue. I agree with Imirak, i haven't found too many opponents that take more time to stay facing me than it does for me to get past them...maybe its just me.

...still wondering what happens to a Druid's energy and combo points when someone dodges their Ferocious Bite though.

In the RARE chance you actually fight someone good in this bracket due to your increased speed you will still be able to get behind them a time or two.

Either way I'd rather have the damage for taking on the bad 99% of the bracket then the expertise for the good 1% part of the bracket..

oh and bite doesnt waste points when dodged and theres a energy refund also so spam until you hit lol
btw staying infrnt sometimes cant be helpful against hunter ( or any melee ) because if your thorns are up and hunters melee attack you they go gg :D

No.

If your not behind your target your doing it wrong.

I completely disagree.

Even bad hunters can scatter, disengage, and concussive you straight out of an opener. The backpeddlers will be facing you, and even with powershifting, if you miss that next Mangle from a dodge or parry and the snare runs down, you are done. I've encountered this far too often on my druid, and it's infuriating.

I currently have Foremans on my Enh and Ret, no luck yet with Rogue or Feral.

While yes it's true and they CAN. Fact of the matter is 96.3% of hunters will not scatter you, and once you shift out of conc you should easily be able to get behind them.
And most hunters disengage in the direction they are backepeddling and it's SOOOO easy to call their DE so they land on you.

While I aggree with you on the point that yes there are some hunters and other players that you will have a hard time staying behind, it's just that in my experience I'd rather have the +dmg on the 96.3% of hunters and bads that do just bend over for you, rather then the expertise to land me that 1 KB on the 3.7% of goods.

And I can understand the expertise gloves on any other class, but on a feral where you get a slow AND you move 30% faster then everything else out there I just can't support not eating someones anus 96.3% of the time

Again this is just an opinion, and could perhaps be biased because of the fact I'm to lazy to get the gloves.

Also I would favor the expertise in arena.

Incidentally words that are not out of place on a forum called Twinkinfo by any meaning of the word twink. :p
