Why did you make your class?

I'd like to know why everyone rolled what class they play most.

Is it your favorite class?
It was you first class?
Is it because you suck at all the other classes so you just rolled the most over powered class?

Give me your answers!

Good question,

I think i rolled my rogue for checking out the bg'ing here in the us. As rogue you can observe alot ^^

But when i play i like to play my priest now simply because it could save people and get the advantage over the battleground. It also gives me a fighting chance versus most common classes aka hunter, pally and rogue. Im not a healbot and i dont like to healbot but fight and priest gives me a good option to do so and heal when needed or cast a shield :)

Play everything. My favorite class switches daily. I probably play hunter, bal druid, lock, and mage least.

All three.

EDIT: Actually my first class was a hunter, now that I think back. But buying ammo pissed me off, I think. So my second class was a paladin, and I fell in love with that.

Why did I roll a priest? When I played on Alliance side, I always noticed how there were a fair amount of heals and horde never seemed to have much (keep in mind this was a while ago). The idea of healing had always intrigued me (I was a rouge at this time) and i wanted to be more of a support class that was constantly doing things (healing, Dps, etc). Priests IMO are not taken that seriously, and if you play them right, they can make a big difference to the game. I enjoy the fact that I dont have the most OP class in the game, and I enjoy healing other players that other wise would be dead. It's a fun class that you can do so many different things with. I enjoy being at somewhat of a disadvantage when I see my team is again all Op hunter/pally games. It gets pretty crazy.

paladin holy spec, when i started i didnt know what class was good for me so i rolled a warrior which was bad. Once i got better i switched to ret paladin which i was still no experienced . I wasnt topping dmg and was dying so easily because everyone wanted to dps and healers were once in a full moon. So i decided that i should heal, because someone had to. So hpaladin became my focus. After receiving praise for my good healing i fell in love with hpaladins because my healing would make or break a bg. I kept bging and earned myself some boas and soon was bis hpaladin. I kept healing and topped the charts with unbelievable numbers, never saw another hpaladin like me. Later on came Faakme another crazy hpaladin. Together we would carry an entire bg and 80k+ heal. It was exciting If we ever got into the same bg everyone would just yell out an auto win. Paladins was for me and as i lost touch with faakme i kept playing hpaladin. Slowly i have become interested in other classes. Hunter is my next focus and mage will be my third class to focus on.

I rolled a balance druid because it was probably the class besides elemental shamans that I had seen the least of, and I wanted to prove that they could do well in BGs. I'm glad I went with balance druid because it's hella fun ^_^

rolled a holy pally first, because thats what i was playing in arena when i quit p2p. prot warrior because i always wanted a sword and bord orc. got tired of him because it kinda sucks in pugs with no heals/support. now i play a rogue......because i always wanted an undead rogue. really like the play style, and if the pug is terrible i just look for individuals to 1 on 1.

I made my holy paladin because my first character ever was a paladin. I never played holy so I decided to try it out.

My 1st 2 trials way way back in the day were hunter then pally. I love holy and need to play it more, but I'm currently addicted to skillpatching people down. And I love hunter/pally cause they are OP. I don't really get the philosophy behind playing something that isn't as strong as something else especially in a twink bracket (that kinda seems like the point). FotM FTW!!!!!

Because you either enjoy the class or want more of a challenge than rolling your face across a keyboard provides :D Jk. No seriously though for some people having a challenge is more fun than pwning everything.

@OP

Resto druid was not my first but it is my favorite, and has been for a while. My full account has 2 85 resto druids (one for A and H, my current druid is named after meh main). My interest in the class was piqued after I first saw Painaid's fc-ing videos, and something about the healy-mobility really resonates with how I like to play :) I started out with a disc priest in this bracket and went to resto because I don't think I really enjoy playing anything else.

Not bad, drop the Y. Closest would maybe be 'Eed' or 'Ead'.

Better than what someone else associated; that being Why-dee, which he then took to mean Whitey in a racist way. o_O
I really hope that's not a common interpretation, because that would suck.

Made Judas because I like how versatile priests are. I'm disc, yet I have no problem at all getting top damage done, as well as a ton of healing done. I rarely ever die, unless 5+ pile on me. Those 4 hunters that always seem to stick together are typically not a problem as I can bubble long enough to kill the first one, spam my heals when I'm in trouble, and penance is a lifesaver/ender.

Made Clothswag because I enjoy mage endgame for pvp. I hate it for pve, so 2 button, but at 20 most classes are so simple that I don't feel bad about the ~6 spells I have.

Made Fannypakswag because I loved my 19 lock, and wanted to get back into it in a different bracket. So far I haven't been disappointed.

All three.

Same here, hunter first, then pally. Then I found rogue and druid. Most playtime on pally, then druid, rogue and hunter respectively.

Haven't even rolled a new hunter on my F2P account yet. Still have to get my holy set for my pally and finish my druid :)

So it's T-Cat-two? I always tend to create some wrong pronunciations in my head, so you are saved as a kinda fancy 'T'Kahtee'.

Yeah, my other Tauren druid was named Thunderkat but Tkat is what my guildies called him :) I don't worry about how other people pronounce it tho because it's a deliberately vague reference; I've gotten everything in bgs from Tikii to Thakti xD

I think of Yde as being sounded out like "yehdey" it sounds kind of eastern European to me :3

Btw I saw YDE on a license plate the other day and it made me lol a little.
