Is pretty booming!!! Just wanted to create this thread to say... Well done on creating such a shrine for 20 twinks. I see loads of informative posts, really great to see people acting this way in the forums. Compared to the 20-24 twinking forum this place is really active.

So, HELLO to all ya'll level 20 free to play peoples!!!

If you see me in game, remember to smile and wave

Yaseuh and TI deserve the lion's share of the credit.

If it weren't for them the F2P community would be naught

Glad you enjoy their handiwork though

I'm really happy that so many people are getting something out of WoW while they aren't paying for it

**** Activision/Blizzard, SOPA supporting sacks of ****. The only good Bliz devs left ages ago, and are now working on projects like Firefall and League of Legends. Go Red 5 studios! Go Riot Games!

Been on ptr qtpie

Yah, me too. EVE ptr

(If you want to see how a truly great game developer treats their player community, take a look at this and this. Yes, it's tl;dr tt;cc material, but you might just learn something

).

While I'm not particularly interested in coming back to WoW, I've been considering making use of the f2pwowhelp.com domain name I registered, finally accepting donations for the addons I made, and helping support the F2P community again. Yes, some of you are completly selfish elitist douchebags that I don't give a flying **** about, but that doesn't mean I can't set up a site to help people who actually give a damn about the F2P community, and are willing to put something back into it besides gallons of piss in pissing contests.

Haha well if I ended up quitting my sub I definitely wouldn't mind donating some here and there because obviously you have done so much for this community... I see you have a little bit of spite! I felt the sting on that last passage!! Haha

While I don't doubt some of that is directed at me, I'd love to contribute to an F2P site for gearing and strategies.

<--- Would rather pay Yasueh then blizzard because IMO his addon has improved the game more then anything blizz has done since the release of lk...

OK, if we can all agree on that, I can forgive you guys pretty much anything
<
(You do get more satisfaction from encouraging every last noob not to pay though).

Probably one of the biggest reasons I want to come back and make the f2pwowhelp.com wiki is so I can have a 'Why F2P and not P2P?' section, where I get to really put the boot in regarding Blizzard (not that I didn't push it as far as I could on their own forums), and tell people exactly why they shouldn't be giving this company any money

don't call them "blizzard". it just gives the guys a bad name who actually were blizzard and actually did make several of the best video games of all time

edit: all your proposed anti-p2p section would need is a couple of video interviews with activision's CEO. that guy is probably top 5 biggest assholes on this entire planet. not an exaggeration at all.....worth youtubing for anyone reading this that doesn't know who he is

When he wasn't promoting the company's games or technology, Kotick was celebrating its laserlike focus on the bottom line. He pointed to changes he implemented in the past as being particularly beneficial, such as designing the employee incentive program so it "really rewards profit and nothing else."

He later added, "We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games."

If that sounds like it would create a corporate culture that isn't all sunshine and hugs, then it's mission accomplished for Kotick. The executive said that he has tried to instill into the company culture "skepticism, pessimism, and fear" of the global economic downturn, adding, "We are very good at keeping people focused on the deep depression."

sounds like someone who i'd like to pay for the privilege of playing their shitty games in my spare time!

Should make the distinction 'Activision/Blizzard' because the games started going to **** at about the same time as the merger (I also used to play several Activision FPSs which have gone the same way).
