Boa 'twink' lvlers....

Anyone else here ever roll an alt, queue up for wsg and get farmed by a few hunters on the opposite team, and then hear someone on ur team say something like: ''damn Twinks!!!''?



I dont know about most of you, but when I hear this I cringe a little bit. Sometimes I cant resist saying: Dude there arent any twinks here, those are just lvlers using boa's. And then usually they respond with something like: ''yes, they are twinks.'', and im just like /facepalm.

Maybe its just a pet peeve of mine, but when someone calls a 756 hp orc hunter named ''lolhunterz'' who is using full boa's, 5 stam to boots, 1 agility to bracers, and 50 hp to chest a twink It annoys the hell outa me lol. Oh and not to mention crafted rings, legs, gloves, belt, and bracers all with a lvl req of 14 or less.



And you cant argue with them and explain what a real twink is, they deny it all. You direct them to a real twinking website and they tell you to stfu, cuz they know what they are talking about, they played in vanilla.



So fellow twinks, have you ever had this experiance? And does it annoy you as well? Or do you just lol and ignore them?
 
Yeah! I know exactly what you mean, it annoys the heck out of me. So many people are under this impression that twinks are still in normal bg's because of these guys, and ultimately it gets US really bad publicity even though we can't even touch those games. Just ridiculous that your average leveller believes that the boa'd, not even semi-twinked toons in bgs are twinks. It's insulting towards us if nothing else.

the gap between non-boa new players and boa players is huge and will only become bigger when more boas r coming



though basically everone is very bad in 10-14 bg and you can usually outplay 3-4 by yourself
 
I semi twinked out my rogue till I got to 60 or so. Usually 7 agi to gloves, boots and bracer enchants. But you are right they are not twinks but hunters are > than anything but hunter twinks at early levels.
 
I believe that they are twinks. It's called semi-twinking. A little pimping your toon in low level pvp wich makes a huge difference (enchanted boa gear) is simply twinking, maby not the example the op gives with those minor enchants par on level but semi-twinks are still running in xp-on bg with better enchants then the example. It is a form of twinking if you agree or disagree it wont change the fact that they are semi-twinking, we all twinked back in classic like this and the only difference wich makes these people less likely twinks in peoples eyes is the fact that everything is bursty. And dont confuse semi-twinking with bis-twinking like we do in locked xp with our toons.
 
Some are actual twinks. There is a thing you can do that you q up with xp on, and turn off at split second when you join. Not going to tell anyone the "addon" to help you with it because it is stupid as ****.

You dont need an addon to do it, you can do it with a simple macro and quick clicking if ur latency is low enough.....took me a while to dig around and find it but I finally figured out how it could be done. Its overrated anyways, and makes you look bad=p

I mean obviously you can make a macro to do it for you, hence the word "help" for doing the exploit. But nobody would really look into it or try and randomly make macro trying to do this without any previous knowledge that you actually can do it. So me mentioning that is can be done was probably a mistake on my part, oops.

haha agreed, but its pretty well known anyways so its whatever, and its also risky for anyone who decides to try it, If it glitches and dosnt disable ur xp you could zone in right as u win a game or a flag is capped and ding lvl 20, I would advise anyone who is interested in doing it to not bother, its not worth the risk imo.
 
roll a player to 10 with no BOAs and having not turn off XP to get some greens. a BOA geared leveler with have more stats on their BOA weapon that all your gear combined. a "new" account player gets farmed by BOA leveling twinks now just like they did in van-wow, BC and WotLK....not has really changed.



an inexperienced player hits the BGs with 200-400hp or less in 10-15, there are BOA geared players come in 500-900+.



when in leveling BGs, it is BOA geared players that will say "they have more twinks than we do" translation "they have more BOA geared players"



"new" account players are the ones saying "where did you that helm, bow, chest, etc." , "how am i getting killed in 1-2 hits" "how do i get that gear" "what's a twink"



most BOA geared levelers roll in full enchanted, BOA gear is twink gear to begin with...especially if you are using caster weapons....nothing catches up with BOA caster weapons till around 70+



and for the final LOL.....i roll a F2P player, i get 2 AGMs, i go into a BG at level 10 wearing all whites except for a green level 8 sword (bought from a vendor) immediatly i get flamed by a player saying i'm a twink and there to farm noobs. i died 22 times, AGMs where just a 1 shot delay. the player who flamed was a hunter with full enchanted BOA....axe, bow, chest, cloak, helm, 2 haste trinkets. and here was the kicker he was wearing a set of white boots +7 agi, set of white gloves +15 agi, set of white bracers +9 stam. he was also spamming the rum. over all around 1190 hp. guess it was to throw attention of himself.



i saw this awhile back, some players thanks to BOAs and boredom make leveling twinks, get to a point, delete, start another. move the BOAs and whites...insta geared
 
the biggest issue with not having boas is the sick extra stats given from wep (41 sp at 19)
 
I think I talked to that guy once, he told me BiS was the boa daggers with fiery and got furious with me when I told him that wasn't the case. I think that we (most of us) know how and who's a twink, and telling people who don't get it otherwise wont get anyone very far.



Edit: reminds me of just the other day when I lvled a huntard up to 10 just to play with my roomie who's a total noob (1st toon ever). I walked into the bg at 10 with 4 boas, the starter gear and nothing else. I was greeted with, "wow! That huntard is freeking GEARED!" And me with 40 min played time didnt realize they were talking about me till later when they broght it up again.

I agree about spellcaster weapons being pretty strong at low levels, I made a mage once with full boa's, I was planning on lvling him to 85 via bg's. I had spellpower enchants, and stamana to boots, 4 stats to chest, 5 resist to boa cloak...arcane spec. Joined bg's at lvl ten and one shot peaple with arcane barrage it was crazy! I even managed to out-damage some hunters which i thought would be impossible. I LOLED as they sat there for liek 15 seconds before releasing.

main reason why priests and h-pal's are so OP at 19. BOA mace unenchanted is better than anything in the game enchanted.



the old butcher's slicer with 30sp or a dawnblade with 30sp....not even close to a BOA
