aight so heres the deal, i sold my mage after it got full BIS gear and im looking for a new project being a hunter, so im wondering 80 or 84? and if so spec etc, and if some 1 could link me a hunters armory and also name the positive and flaws of 80 and 84, tyy

I can not help you for the armory, but i will say this, stay 80.



I wont say it's for maths, stat loss, stat gain, but the feeling of being " right " just like a lvl 70 staying 70 and not going 74.

Nesy I cannot help but say that choosing between 80 and 84 is VERY different from 70 and 74. While 70's and 74's don't have much of a big difference, 80 and 84 does. You will almost always lose to that 95k health 84 twink as a level 80 (with your 35-40k health) and to be honest, from my experience that "feeling of being "right"" does not really exist unless your character was a WotLK player (which is not this guy's case). I have played both brackets and I'd say go 84. However, just to be safe, go 80 first and then see what it's like - you can always change your mind and go to 84.

Never said it was the same, just that to me it does feel the same way.

Also, my 80 resi geared paladin in either retribution - holy can take a 84 cata hunter 1 on 1 without any big issue to be honest.

84s dont have that much of an edge. 80s can hold their own quite well depending on the class/spec/gear matchups

thats if you can do mop content w/o being 85 or they go back and make boe mop gear for 84s
