as the title says I just made 2.5k g in 10 min with a lvl 1 toon, and I just wanted to share my trick with you. Actually, it's not much of a trick, just a way I use to make a little if i need some, and maybe some of you already uses this, or have tried it, but I'll share it anyways.



My toon is on Stormreaver EU, and I started of with 900g. I don't know about the prices on other servers, but on stormreaver, the prices for Embersilk Cloth (http://www.wowhead.com/item=53010) are ridiculous low (1,5g each), while the prices for Embersilk Bag (http://www.wowhead.com/item=54443) are very high (around 500g each). You need 15 Bolt of Embersilk Cloth (http://www.wowhead.com/item=53643) and 15 Hypnotic Dust (http://www.wowhead.com/item=52555) to create a Embersilk Bag, and since you need 5 Embersilk Cloth to create a bolt, it means 75 Embersilk Cloth and 15 Hypnotic Dust.



So this is what I did. I bought 525 Embersilk Cloth, and 105 Hypnotic Dust for about 900g, 1.5g each for Embersilk Cloth and 80s for Hypnotic Dust. And then I logged on my main, which is a tailor, though only at 490 atm., and then created 7 bags and sold them 500g each. They were all bought in about 2 hours, and it only took me about 10 min. to buy all the mats and create the bags on my main.

If you don't have a character with high level tailoring, you should just ask for one in trade chat, you learn the recipe from trainers, so every tailor with above 480 in tailoring, should be able to make this bag.



The math:

Embersilk Cloth: 525x1.5 = ca. 787.5g

Hypnotic Dust: 105x0.8 = ca. 84

Overall expenses = 871.5g



And I sold all my seven bags for 500g each which means, though I only get 475g because of the action house cut, which means I got 3325g



3325 - 871.5 = 2453.5g profit.
 
Alchemy potion making is an easy way to make gold from my experiance. I just spend a couple thousand gold on herbs, turn them into the most popular raiding potions like tol vir, and the str ones, stick them on the ah and in the morning I make around 5k. Thats 3k gold profit while im sleeping. I also like flipping lvl 49 and below boe's. Pick them up for less than 25g, stickem back up for 100-150g, sometimes even more for certain items. They dont sell often, but when u have a few hundred up at a time enough sell to cover the ah cost and net a healthy profit. The same goes with low lvl green boe's, pickem up for less than 1g each, flipem for 5g each set price.



Also if you have a main spend an hour or less a day each week and cap ur valor. Sell valor boe's at the start of each week or two. I made 50k off two valor boe's the first week they became availiable. They are worth much less now tho.



After spending tons of gold on books of glyph mastery and doing the research every day for months, I would not suggest inscription. Dont do it! Unless you have no life at all, you cant succeed with making alot of gold using inscription because no lifes camp the ah all day long and keep undercutting ur glyphs. Only a few of them end up getting sold and u make more profit off of fortune cards. Not to mention it can take hours to mill herbs and turn them into inks.



After reading about taloring above, I may auctually give up on inscription and focus on tailoring and alchemy myself, a good 6k or so profit overnight sounds great.
 
i dont see how being lvl 1 is relevant. you could have just stayed on your main, the tailor, and done everything

any level can play the ah once you get some start up money
 
those bags go for over 1500g each on my server normally... i usually just buy herbs and use my druid to make a bunch of flasks if i feel the urge to play the ah

Sounds cool, I just have one question though, I havn't played much on my main, usually just use him for farming for BoA's when I need some, but which valor boots sell the best in your experience?

Well it isn't relevant, I just mean that you don't actually need to have a lvl 85 main to use this method.

The first week valor boots came out I bought a pair of leather agility boots and a pair of plate dps boots. I gemmed and enchanted both of them and put them on ah for 25k each. They both eventually sold that day. However, the price of valor boe's have dropped to around 5-10k now I think. I only got that much because I sold them when they had first came out.

When ever i need gold, i empty the AH completely for Elementium ore (always around 300+ stacks for ca 65g/stack on my server)

Then i post around 15 stacks at a time for 115g/stack

and prospect the rest.



Last time i did it i made 21k profit in 2 hours work. Feels good man

As I said above, I mentioned the lvl of my char just to indicate that this can be done on a lvl 1, just ask for a tailor in trade chat. but I guess you're right... in some way

Excuse me for being a faggot, but I'm surprised this isn't MUCH more common in WOW.



When Runescape (sorry for the example lol) wasn't so gay, this was very common. I'm sure the average age/intelligence of a WOW player is much higher then that of a Runescape player, so I wonder why this hasn't been more common.

Craft Carnelian Spikes with your Carnelian.

Sell Blue quality Ring/Neck on AH

Sell all the enchanting mats.

Sell Blue quality gems that worth 60g+



For all the Blue quality gem under 50-60g worth, cut them.



Sell the cutted gems for around 20-100g.
