My guild, <Epic>, was premading and when we joined a battleground we lost our transmog set! I thought I would let ya'll know this...
 
Within minutes of my first post . . . /cry

When you send a mogged BoA it's supposed to strip the new skin, but it wasn't working right. Now it seems they've fixed it, or at least on a half ass level. Who knows with Blizz.[/font]

i think hes right. my BoAs weren't mogged but the rest of my gear was. and i've been doing BGs and my stuff is still fine.

Looks like bliZZARD is determined to suck the fun out of this game at every chance.... f*ckers..
 
you can put them in your bank do a BG and take them out after it finish's and they are still on. you can also log out and back in while its in the bank and the transmog stays, ive made up multiple set.
 
Out of all of the issues that effect twinks that Blizz could fix, like class balance or faction accessible gear. They choose to ruin one of the coolest features they have ever put into game.



From what I have heard so far, this may be a every time you enter a BG or Arena or Instances it checks for non level appropriate mogs and strips them.



Awesome. Glad I'm not paying for all this crap. I was pissed when the new honor system made my earned PVP 60 blues easily grindable. Now apparently my Lt Commander title can be gotten from a 2k BG rating. Probably mailing out Black Qiraji Resonating Crystal's to all 85s with the next patch.



I saw a post where someone was complaining about a low level char with endgame shoulders... Cuz he worked hard to earn his?!?! Raiding, aside from being a life stealing grind, isn't all that hard. Especially now. Crossover buffs, easy builds. Bleh, Greater blessings used to be 15min. Used to be a pita to deal with that crap.



Anyway, sorry guys. I'll miss having interestingly geared 24s around

I don't understand why they're doing this.. What does it make a difference if BoA's are transmogged by mains and sent off?



I won't log into BG's for a while but I won't be able to hold back for the whole night most likely.



I think it's funny also because I transmogged my BoA's, sent to my twink then xfered servers and still have them lol. That just seems ridiculous.
 
When you join a battleground you will lose your transmog on your BoAs if the item it looks like requires level so... lets say I got my staff from a quest and it dousnt require a level... I get to keep it like that and same with other pieces... Look like everyones going to start questing!
 
So keeping your 'Mogged BoAs is actually pretty easy. My buddy and I still have ours and have been through at least 10 BGs today. The secret is to keep these findings to yourselves, blizzard can use search engines just like anyone else and find out how people are getting around it.
