Winter's Veil and Merrymaker

Well from simply looking at wowhead, it appears we can no longer obtain the On Metzen! achievement by saving Metzen the Reindeer, as this is now a daily quest that requires level 80 according to wowhead.

That also means we're unable to finish off the Merrymaker achievement and we can no longer obtain the title.

Aye, just ran through all the quests/achievements, Seems the only way to 'free' Metzen is by completing the quest at 80.



Really glad i got around to finishing my Title awhile back..

But hey, who knows? They could change it, like they did with those Cataclysm candy buckets, could change/remove the level requirement, you can always hope.

Well, Level eighty mastery-stacked arcane mages can do almost as much, if not more damage then BiS 85 mages.

Checked the bracket out once, Instant 60k Arcane blast. Ow. Resurrected at the graveyard. Cheap shot, Hemo, 42k Eviscerate. Ow. Timer is up again, resurrect to a huge, honkin' siege engine flying at the graveyard like a train off the rails. It proceeded to farm all 40 alliance at the GY until the game ended.



But don't worry, it's a fun bracket.

Much more 'skill' involved then 80, mages are hard, all that jazz.

I hate how Blizz keeps upping the min level req for holiday crap. It's not like it'd be hard to have the original min level req (like a non-Heroic) and the latest xpac level req (similar to Heroic mode).

Well, There was a candy bukkit, for the "Trick and treats of Cataclysm" that was hidden in the inn at dragonmaw port, in twilight highlands. Which was phased, thus the only bucket a sub-84 couldn't get, Some time after the event ended, they removed that bucket, and people got the achievement, But yeah, is a pain they keep raising the bar on requirements.

From what i know, they drop in dungeon's and or random drops.

The hats have a <1% drop off any humanoid in the game, BUT, you have to be level 30 or 40 to eat that cake so sub that it won't matter if you get the hat to drop.

And at least one person mentioned about lower levels, I was just responding with full data on the issue, ALL humanoids in the game have a chance to drop it and the cake is level 40+ to eat. But yes, at 70-79 you could "try" and farm humanoid mobs to hope and get it, it's considered as low drop rate as BOE World Epics so I wish you luck.



EDIT: People are crazy enough to farm shit like the <1% drop rate non-combat pets so this wouldn't be out of the question.



EDIT 2: Just get 5 people from the bracket and go farm Nexus. It's the first boss and hardly any trash leading up to her. Non Heroic has like a 3% drop plus the <1% from the few humanoids leading up to her. You should be able to get it down to 10-15m per run so maybe 5 per hour.

nah i wont lvl to 80 but when i played at 60 i said i whould never lvl him so i guess noting is impossible

Nexus normal gives you a few options. A ~3% drop rate from the first boss which is reasonably close to the entrance and quick to get to. Also a few humanoid mobs with ~1% drop rate between the door and her. Go in, kill her, go out reset, repeat until you wanna stab babies.
