Shadowfang Farming

I have been playing in the 19 bracket for a couple of years on Stormreaver [EU] now, but I have never seen a Shadowfang on AH, seen it drop, or seen anyone with it.

And now I was just wondering, is it worth farming? And if yes, where is the best place to farm?

no, only the last 4 bosses + rare spawn have a chance to drop it, it's next to impossible to farm, don't waste your time.

Several player got it, you will probably end up seeing several players with it.



Is it worth farming? No, not at all. Major time consuming, totally RNG and you're better off buying it instead of farming it.



The only place to farm Shadowfang is in SFK, only drop from Boss

Doubt that will happen. Your prob going to have to xfer and pick one up. Usually sells from 75-100k.

did 575 runs between my toons before i stopped counting. sooo not worth it.

The chance that Shadowfang drops AT ALL is the following:



(.05%) * (20%) = .01% (Roughly 1 Shadowfang every 10000 runs!!!)



Whitout rare spawns :



(.04%) * (20%) = .008% (Rougly 1 Shadowfang every 12500 runs!!!)
