Going to start lifting again, need motivation.

I've seen hotbot's carved, ripped / tight body (no homo) and I know there's more of you out there who lift. Give me some 19 motivation!

I'll start.. 3 months ago, all natural, about 3 months in to Starting Strength program by Mark ripptoe. Highly recommend this program if anyone is looking to gain functional overall strength and is serious about seeing solid gains through eating right and only dedicating 4 hours max a week to lifting.

Remember kids, cardio kills your gains.

Inb4 obvious trolls come by. inb4 everyone besides hotbot actually doesnt lift and this thread is pointless.

So 19's Do you even lift?

(no homo)

i play wow that is my dam exercise!

i Ve been lifting for about 2 years. the frustrating part of it is that u gota keep eating constantly, i personally eat every 3 hours with 1 or 2 protein shakes in between the meals a day, as IM aiming at 4000 calories/day. also been on a dianabol cure (testosterone) which demands a lot more dedication at geting the right amount of nutrition a day, but tbh keep it natural as u usually bloat like a fuckin waterbaloon and the side effects arent worth it unless u like walking around with bitchtits.

also i would recomend a gainer shake after each training, to recover quickly.

as for ur motivation, get a wallpaper of some riped dude and set it as ur deskop background, and try to find a gym partner one of ur buddies or something, for the concurrence. that worked for me

I was on a +500 Calorie surplus bulk at the time of this picture only weighing in at 190 lbs. I'm 6'1, my stats were 205 bp, 200 Squat (i know its weak I had a leg injury), 225 Dl, +25 lbs pull ups, +35lbs dips.

I only did protein shakes post work out and used NoXplode for pre workout energy boost.

My issue now is that due to a medical problem which caused me to stop lifting for the last 3 months all my lifts went down by like 50 lbs, and now i need to restart without being able to use protein suplementation or pre workout energy boosters, so i need to find all natural methods. I think ill just start drinking more milk and eating tons of almonds / chicken. Thoughts?

u you will get in shape faster than u think, muscle memory is soo underestimated, ppl thought my bud was on testo when he got back after his 5 months break. just keep eating right and hit the gym atleast 3 times a week with no exceptions. protein shakes arent needed if u allow urself to eat the right amount of calories/day. id recomend lots of tuna, eggs, chicken, pasta etc replace the chocolate/candies with nuts etc... bananas is the shiz too.

and remember.. no pain, no gain!

and btw, NoXplode 2.0 sucks. i highly recomend rage3D. feels like ur on cocain during the whole pass, only flaw is that u get sleep issues at the begining of the cure

Two things I want to point out..

1. only dedicate 4 hours a week to lifting

2. cardio kills gains

lol and lol

you're extremely uneducated about lifting. keep acting like you know what you're talking about because you read bodybuilding.com

I have a few friends who lift. They seem to really enjoy it.

I have no intention of starting though.

4 hours a week seems legit considering u dont want ur body to produce any cortisol which is a hormone that basically breaks down your muscles and lower ur testosterone lvl. thats why you would never see a bodybuilder spend more than 1 hour lifting weights at the gym.

And this is why hass continues to be a fucking retard. Moving along. Cardio also does kill gains, I'm trying to gain weight not lose it.

not in a year+, got a herniated lumbar disc (which has since healed) and got lazy, just do more cardio-type stuff now
