Transmogrifying BoA's

Hey, some of you will have heard this trick, others not. Hopefully this will help a few people who are missing out.

Follow this method to transmogrify your BoA into any item up to lvl 85.

1) Equip BoA on main character, and talk to the Transmogrifier NPC

2) Transmogrify your BoA into any item for lvl 85 and under

3) Mail the item to your twink by dragging the item directly from the character pane, NOT from your bag.

4) Log twink and collect mails

BoA's are supposed to lose the transmogrification when being mailed, but using this technique means they don't.

There has been no Blue post saying that Heirloom items are supposed to lose the xmog when mailed to another toon within your battle.net account. Until we see a Blue post saying this, and since we have on this very site a Blizz GM who has done it, it's safe to assume that it's working as intended.

The heirlooms do lose the look, unless you follow the above method.

The item must be mailed by dragging the item from character pane, so I doubt it's working as intended, if it doesn't work when simply mailing from your bag.

Anyway, exploit or not, it's a neat little trick and I hope people benefit somehow

It's also possible that them losing the xmog when you put them in the bag instead of direct drag to mailbox IS the glitch, after all this is an entirely new system and brand new patch. Until we see a Blue post either way I'm going to continue doing it as I see no harm in the "system" as it is now and can no way imply or infer it is an exploit because what are you gaining over anyone else, super cool looks?

Was also said in 1-9 bracket

Yeah, it's not intentional to be mailed and keep its effect. A blizz post stated that.

Fluffeh

Having Rhok'delar on my 24 toon is priceless

I would suggest you NEVER mail it to any other toon to use then, because whenever Blizz decides to halt this practice they'll likely only make it so that the xmog for sure disappears when mailing, but still allow xmog'd BOA's to stay what they are if you leave it on that toon.

• Mailing an item strips its transmogrification.

With that said, I've mailed transmogged BoA's from my bags a dozen times or more without it losing it's transmog.
