Yeah I'm not following you at all. So you're saying all Agility classes (Hunter, Rogue, Feral Druid) should have it to kill Hunter pets but then you say killing Hunter pets heals Warriors (a Strength class). So even if you 1-2 shot a Hunter pet as a Warrior to gain a tiny little heal that Hunter is putting distance on you and ripping your face off while you're distracted by his pet?

So you want to use +6 weapon damage (only against beasts) over 15/25 Agility or 20 Haste for Agility classes or Crusader/Fiery or 20 Haste for Warriors? Yeah I don't get it.

EDIT: I need to l2read what forum section people post in before replying. I didn't realize you're talking F2P which makes everything I said pretty much useless, self pwnt.

DPS Killing a hunter's pet is like spamming purge on them. Most hunters are metally handicapped and can't pull off a single kill command because LOLEXPLOSIVESHOT LOLAIMEDSHOT is all they can happen to swing whilst backpeddaling. So killing their pet would be the equivalent of removing a buff. Their pet's damage is minimal at best, and most of the time a hunter's pet's dead anyway because they're too busy rolling face to keep a flat dps increase alive. Not to mention I haven't seen anyone other than me and maybe two other decent hunters using /petattack macros to keep their pet on the same target as theirs, so it isn't even always a flat dps increase.

Should you do this against DECENT HUNTERS? Absolutely, No question about it, If I were on my hunter and you got me anywhere near 40% health, I would kite you to 50 yards and have my pet finish you with kill command.

Is this viable in the current F2P bracket? No, because 90% of hunters fail.

    Good thinking though.

while i agree with you there, by saying that 90% wont, that means there is a 10% that will

if it proves to be that much an advantage against a talented player then why not just keep and extra set of weapon with it on your toon?

Victory Rush off hunter pet KBs is pro and something that will definitely save your ass/increase your effectiveness as a war, this is actually something I thought about but the best thing to do would just make a macro to equip your beast killing weapon so u can switch it in, kill a pet, and switch back to normal

If a hunter spots you frist, killing his pet for a 400-490 heal won't save you.

Maybe not in a wide open field. But if you manage to get back on him or you can VR someone else that may very well save your life, I know it has saved mine, besides, then at least you're doing something when you waddle at them

as long as i have played a warrior i was almost never able to close the gap between me and a hunter as long as he was aiming at me. yea, you can kill the pet and it is useful (the pet is more of a dot than a buff) - but he will concshot-serpentsting-autoshot-lol-concshot you all the time and there is nothing you can do about it. or is there?

in my eyes it is a viable hint, but i am not sure, if i would want to lose damage against rogues and cloth-wearers (classes you have a good chance to kill as a warrior) for the possibility to survive more bad hunters (or feraldruids).

idk, I've killed plenty of hunter's on my Warrior. I've played a f2p hunter and I have an 85 hunter. I know what I'm capable of as a player, and I know what to expect. Again, I'm not saying this isn't a good idea; Hell, given the bracket limitations this is a brilliant idea and the only useful weapon enchant other than Intellect. Just saying that while I understand the concept it's not as easy as it sounds, or as practical to applicate.

Gotta be NE... Then you kill pet and smeld charge vrush, as long as you can get a couple globals in with your vrush you can drop him, I have done it before. Most of the hunters will be like wtf how did he get so closo to me, then by the time they find any of the six or so cc that they have on their action bar you should have em dead, works even better with 2h fury...

    for 2h this is better

He's referring to the +2 dmg from the enchant. Which if I'm not mistaken (probly am) that's added in to wpn dmg based moves which makes it more than just 2 dmg. I could be wrong though.

This, and even if it were more than 2 dmg, it'd still be a miniscule amount compared to when you're facing skilled druids and hunters. Beastslaying is now the BiS Weapon Enchant for Melee in F2P. /thread.
