Blood vs Frost

Well,



Frost has peels, burst, an awesome self-heal, several slots, can deal a very large amount of damage at range, and lots of Aoe (lol, battlegrounds).



Blood can, of course, soak more damage, vengeance stacking makes for huge death/heart strikes, lots of self-healing, tank spec, can tank Alterac valley bosses, Though blood is easier to kite, they have high pickup damage, Two death strikes off the bat, etc.
 
blood for 5s frost for 2s and 3s (depending on your comp blood can be vastly superior)
 
Considering Blood Dk Vs Mage is almost as bad as Warrior Vs hunter, i'd even /sorry, the warrior i'm kiting, which is why i cant bring myself to play a mage, why post as a mage calling another class OP in the 70s bracket?
 
blood easily, i do Numerous 10k+ Ds every time, ive been known to one hit rogues/mages 15kish deathstikes on pve geared rogues/mages, yet im easily kited and frost dks win most duels 1v1 mainly because howling blast crits for 4k and i cant even touch them, but ive found bloods far supierior in rbgs and arenas.
 
It's all down to play style, personally I prefer frost, but blood is extremely decent and generally considered better than frost. Part from Kicts obs

I have to admit i agree with Kakusei, i as well prefer frost over blood, find the play style more suitable to what i like and enjoy.

Dont think that one can be better than another one, it just differs.
 
Blood is VERY insane right now at low level (any level really..) due to death strike doing insane damage. I've seen some very good blood dks with BIS do 7k-8k death strike crits on any clothie target with low veng stacks due to how death strike scales atm with gear+Talent to increase its damage. blood dks are very viable in 2s and 3s just be sure to run with someone with can dispel.
 
Frost if you got a healer along your side, else stick to blood so you dont die in 5 secs lol

Frost provides pro dmg all the time while blood mostly has a 1 time burst each 10 sec.



Get a healer and go frost and enter the 2v2

If you wanna do go in 1v1 blood is the only option imo, if your not fighting a healer cuz then i'd say frost

As kakusei said blood is easily kitable, how ever with a dispeller and pref a Mage In threes blood dks tear it up, double strangulates but I am going to say now that frost is superior in twos, the less burst more all out damage is more beneficial compared to the two venganced stacked ds' that I throw out, never the less both specs are viable and a strong spec in arenas
