Riot Stick

warriors using staves is nothing really new, they work for them same as any other 2H wpn

if you twinked back in BC, you would have seen this more. in the 40-49 bracket many arms warriors used http://thottbot.com/item=1607

in 30-39 bracket until they got POD many used http://thottbot.com/item=9408 which had str/stam stats back then, and was not scaled back to 35 (changed on cata),

at least the riot stick has 2 useable stats for them too

Templar's Verdict doesn't count because you've got 15% crit max and you're using 3 HP TV every ~20 seconds in a battleground. Rogues do the big crits, faster. I applaude your vain effort to derail the thread about what your biggest crits are.

He's not trying to derail it. He's trying to say that a rogue doesn't have that large of crits.

The things id do to put my foot up your ass irl, all you do is start drama.

I think creative use of an often overlooked quest reward decision should be commended. After seeing Budson use of this weapon it made me think of how well it could perform on feral combat druid. There is a talent spec that gives a 5% chance to do 310% weapon damage on an auto attack. I know very small chance and not sure if it works with crits. Can you imagine the damage done tho with that proc and a crit ??? That would just be awesome to see

"I applaude your vain effort" Stfu and stop trying to talk intelligent.

Actually TV+CS does 30% extra damage with talents, but only the option of 5% extra crit on CS, not TV if you specced into it, which I personally didn't. I still think aimed shot has the biggest crits.

The 8% mounted and run speed is more useful in a BG to me than 5% crit on CS+WoG. The extra CS crit would be nice, but unless I'm running away or FCing, I don't use WoG.

the fact that anyone would consider talenting something other than pursuit of justice on a 20 ret makes me cringe. seriously, wtf? what the hell did you talent instead, the crit talent?

Some of them take eye for an eye. There are a lot of people that try out all kinds of different specs. I've seen the recount data, and EfaE just isn't worth it for me. Even if you're at the top of the damage taken list.

I think that it is telling of the ubiquity of paladins, that a conversation about a caster weapon in the hands of a warrior somehow got turned into a paladin discussion thread. *smirk*

yeah i get hit by eye for an eye all the time and i facepalm every time it happens

seriously, not taking the speed increase.....lol

While I sometimes agree with C O T U S and sometimes not, I'd have to run with him on this one. Its a speed increase that is otherwise impossible to f2p's. Helps mobility and ToT

quoted, because i would like to get an oppinion on this statement as well. sounds interesting...

p.s.: but i really dont know, if this is worth giving up the eyepatch after all.

The BoA axe is better than the stick. The BFD axe is better than the stick. The eyepatch is better than the fishing hat. Doesn't really seem that difficult a decision to me.

I really wish people would just ask questions instead of propagating shit. The reason he took the staff is because at the time he didn't know you could buy heirlooms on f2p. With that in mind, it is the best 2h in the game. If you itemize slightly different than what the Reef Axe offers.

It's also amazingly glowy and cosmetic, something many people here strive for without realizing and then end up eating their own words. It's not BiS, but it's pretty close. The reason he has it is for cosmetics. Why no one else has it is because Fury warriors are significantly better and it's already been theory crafted to death to be useless for ferals compared to the eyepatch.

Being somewhat related to prove a point, why go MM over BM or SV? Aimed Shot crits. It's not necessarily bad but you are gimping yourself in the full sense of the word.
