Oh absolutely. Had an easy follow bot out today,... but sometimes its not that easy. The other bot I mentioned happens to have a brilliant pathing thing going that I would be quite impressed by.... were it not sabatoging my games

You really do miss the picture. The kid is posting on the website , which has morals that state AP doesnt GY camp etc but by golly we sure as hell dont give a shit about botting!! . Toss the morals out the door. Seriously , when you can gy camp do it. When you can bot, do it. The mods will lock a post when it gets " out of line ". The same mods will post about " NO GY CAMPING WE ARE AP!! " , but those mods will sit in the shadows when some one talks about getting honor unjustly. Like, gy camping?

You know what, just hold on a minute there. I was just about to write a scathing response to Kahr about how I guess he didn't learn anything the last time around and how he's still putting himself before everyone else and basically sending a big "F--- You" to the rest of his team and this community...
But you're coming in here blanketly accusing all AP of complicity, and that's starting to bother me. There are a few facts that you should take into consideration here. One is, there are tons of people on AP who have opinions on subject but don't feel like they can express them, because everything gets blown out of proportion and people get told "Who are you?" etc... and I am here to speak on behalf of those people. The second is, what can we actually -do- to a person who is not behaving by Aerie Peak standards? We only have two points of control... access to chat, and invites into groups. Kahr never talks in our chat, and he's a P2P so he can make his own groups. Just because a person is on Aerie Peak doesn't make him part of our community (Kahr singed that bridge before, and is working on burning it now) and just because another person on Aerie Peak doesn't immediately burn him at some virtual stake, does not mean that they agree with his practices.
I'm upset at his actions, and I'm upset at the image and effect that it's having on AP's reputation, but honestly I think at the moment I'm more upset about you throwing the whole baby out with the bathwater. I don't think you have much justification to lump all of Aerie Peak in with one already-half-ostracized botter.

and for the record, i don't bot. like i said, i sympathize with people who are frustrated with botters who are on their team. and like i said, there's already a solution - report them AFK
i know very well how it works. it's very easy to report these people AFK and get them kicked, you just need cooperation with other players. yet *another* reason why you should *always* be queuing as a group for battlegrounds in this bracket....especially if you play on aerie peak

Kahr actually always talks in chat when he himself is online, I just haven't been online in a week and halfish. My P2P is frozen and I have no intention of unfreezing it.

And BAM theres Kahr running his route . I know, screen shot or it didnt happen. But you and I know , it happened. Grats on another post count. The problem with botting isn't how you get your BoAs. I couldn't care less how much effort someone else puts into getting their BoAs. The problem is that by fielding a bot you impede the ability of your team members to play a good game with 10 people. I don't play bgs to farm things, I play because I want to have a good time.
Anyone who has worked hard to win a good game will tell you every person on your team matters, and there is nothing more frustrating than to lose a game, not because you all worked hard and the other team just did better, but because there was an empty spot on your team. As a pvp-er I personally would never inflict that condition on another group of players, because it drives me nuts when it happens to me. I cannot understand why anyone would care so much about having BoAs that they would run a bot (and risk their account that I'd assume they'd put some amount of work into and would not like to lose) just to not have to play games. Games yes? The thing we do for fun? I mean if you don't want to play battlegrounds now... why would you want BoAs to play battlegrounds later? Its not as though having them is required to do well, I do fine with just the shoulders I got before I hit 20 while I work on the rest of the set, and no one will fault you for pvp-ing to get something you need to pvp to get
Just my 2 cents on the subject of botting bgs. Of course its the call of whoever is running the bot but the thought of the 20s bracket becoming as bot ridden as endgame makes me sadpanda.

This is false, because there are like 2 people that are botting BGs from Aerie Peak at the moment as far as i know, and when there are ~100+ from each faction that queue BG's throughout the course of a few days, there is no way that "whenever you see Aerie Peak you KNOW there's a botter in there." That is such a generalization, and its stupid.
