Why don't people use Twink Info Vent??

I've been connecting to the Twink Info Vent but have not seen many people use it besides some AP alliance.



I think more people should use it. Even if you don't have a mic you still can listen to others.

We often use it for premades, otherwise private chats or other vents. And ofcourse skype.

the chance of you being slapped into a BG with other people from another realm consistently is highly unlikely.

Not for horde really... I usually have the same ppl on my team. It may be different for allys tho since there is more of you.

I think they are talking about the AP F2P channel. I saw you 30 min ago or so in the 20-24 channel wich doesn't have one ^^

I have the password for the ap alliance locked channel.

But I dont know if im allowed to give it out

The locked channels are a place for us to retreat to when vent spammers come in and make that god-awful shrieking noise. For the Alliance one, I don't mind if you give it out to anyone you want as long as you verify they are not a 24 in disguise. In other words, only give it out to people you know personally, and then only pass it to them in-game (as anyone can log into Vent itself using someone else's name).



This is just to protect ourselves from the community-destroying 24s. I had someone PM me within Vent the other day trying to get the password from me, and I told them to whisper me in game for it and they gave some excuse about not being logged in. Don't fall for this! Especially now that the vent info has been published here, we can probably expect the community destroyers to come at us from this angle, so until I can convince the TI staff to make more Vent moderators, the password protection is our only defense.
