satchel gloves for 24's

can a 24 group with a higher level to do random instances for the satchel gloves?as it is im only getting belts/back rewards. what level does the other person have to be so i can get satchel gloves?

just tried it with a 30 heals and we got stocks as a random.no gloves. back again.

Asked and answered before. Can't be done at 24. Higher levels can get lowbies to help them get lower level satchel loot they missed, but not the other way around.

loot i missed? my toon is level 23 and the gloves drop from satchels out of instances higher than stocks. sm, gnomer rfk etc. vigorous handguards say 24 for min level.

Read what I wrote again. Maybe it will be more clear. Low levels, in your case 23, can not group with a higher level, in this case 30, to get a higher level random dungeon and loot. Higher levels, as in this level 30, that no longer get the cape and belt as random loot, can group with you, in case they missed loot from the lower level satchels.



As I said, asked and answered before. You haven't thought of anything new. No, it can't be done.

the satchel isnt based on my level. its based on the instance you do. at least thats what wowhead says. someone has tried this by grouping with every level from 25-30 something? If i group with a 37 hes too high for the random dungeon tool.

That's right. The satchel is based on the instance. The instance you get is based on the lowest level grouping for it as random. If you hover your mouse over the dice when the leader initiates the queue, you'll see that it only shows instances that the lowest member can random for.



As you have seen yourself, it's not possible.



I realise you must have had a eureka moment, and thought you could get ilvl 35 items and BC chants, but others have already thought of it. Others have tried it. It can't be done.

Sadly Aradiel is correct. Wowhead shows it as req24 as this is the level needed to queue for gnomer with the dungeon finder looking for specific dungeons, however it's impossible* to enter the instance through random before level 26.





*Then again, nothing is impossible. There -might- be a trick to it, that none/few have found yet.

I have a feeling of adventure...
Let's say my 24 lvl toon forms a group with 4 other 31-34lvl toons.
Logically they are outside ( above ) BFD and Stocks range while i am in Gnomer range ( 24-34 ).
Where do you think random LFG would place us?
If you think about it it doesn't make sense to put us anywhere but Gnomer since we all fit that instance.
I will let you know how it went since its a bit hard to find 4 31-34 lvl toons willing to experiment and run a lower lvl instance.

Me and guildies have tested this and it indeed DOES NOT work, months ago.

Why do you think you see 0 24's with these gloves?

Hm 0 24s is actually not true. There used to be a bug in the EU and this could be done and even with level 50-60 satchels. This got fixed tho but the people who done it could keep their higher level satchel gear. Just saying.


In the current system you need to be level 28+ to receive those satchels even tho wowhead says that the item can be used by a level 24 but they cant obtain it.

Indeed this is true, got a few on my rogue (that I do not use in wsg, rather crutch on pryium chain ) but this wasn't what I ment by the stachel gloves.
