AB weekend

HKs, not honor. Honor is about as useful as a Chef's Award to a trial account with all their gear. I've beaten the MB a number of times in both AB and WSG simply because they do not care about winning. Just farming noobs. Most of the time I don't bother though, since they are farming mid the entire time. You won your game, they won theirs. You're not playing the same game. You're trying to gear up alts while AFK in BGs. MB is farming HKs.

uhhhhhhhhhhh HKs are even more useless than honor. at least i can buy imaginary items in a video game with my honor. you can't get *anything* with HKs



and believe me, if you were in that game, you'd know that navydew cared about winning that one. i can only imagine how pissed he was when it ended

Until I'm done with gear I care more about honor, but after that it's gonna be HKs all the way for achieves and titles.

I know that BOA gears can be purchased by honor points.

Honor Kills are pretty much credit for kills you killed or nearby players killed. Yeah they are worthless

There's no real worth to them. You get achievement points for ever so many, and a title at 100k and 250k.

just played a game with "critcity", "icarrynoobs", and their horrible other 24 friend who afk'd out. i was fortunate enough to be in this game on both an alliance and horde toon, so i got to see both sides of the story. and it was a great one.



the 20s and 24s in this bracket have a pretty testy relationship, as i'm sure we're all aware. we all like to throw around insults on the forums here and there. 20s call the 24s bad, 24s call the 20s scrubs, etc etc etc.



but i have to say, all 24 trolling aside, these guys from Cairne horde that i mentioned above are absolutely horrible. i mean straight up fucking bad at this game. critcity keyboard turns and uses an ability probably once every 3 GCDs. icarrynoobs takes about 2-3 seconds to target a player and cast a heal. holy crap - these guys suck.



needless to say, the alliance won this game, despite having zero 24s, 4-capping the horde. we had another 24 horde hordeside who spent the entire game bitching out the cairne guys for being so absurdly bad. the alliance chat all game consisted of all of us making fun of these dudes for sucking so much ass. a great time was had by all.

No problem, as mentioned, HKs are for the achievements and titles, which is what I assume MB is chasing, and possibly just enjoying one shotting, or close to it, noobs. The MB hunters are F2P and have all HP/JP gear. Once you have more than you need of something, it no longer has as much value. It's only when you're chasing gear that it does.

Friday was pretty skewed whole (off)day, lost one maybe two games on the Alliance toon I fielded for most of the day (and too much of the night). Plenty of 24's and more Hunters, though luckily never more than six Hunters or so per team.



Saturday so far only interesting because of a GM ticket response about camping that came to my attention and may offer some possibilities.



(While we're at it: DO ticket GM's about things that bother you about the game like the f*cked up GY in WSG etc. While you can certainly waste your time at the Fora - and waste I did far too long - hoping the Devs pick something up, the reality is that in contrast to small game companies Blizzard is basically a bureaucracy. And with bureaucrasies it's all about making your problem their problem by putting it on their plate :Tickets have to be answered and are logged etc., making it harder to ignore them than a plea on the Fora)

Only real reason to play WoW is Gnomes tbh, the other aspects of the game are pretty shitty with all the unsportive behaviour (ranging from camping to 24's to farcical games) that goes around and the faulty game-design. Heck, even the response time of my connection has gone up so that the one true big plus of WoW - it's responsive controls - has gone south as well.
