Can I still gem amnesia?

Everyone on the armory has it with 3 sockets but since blizzard made the tiered settings a non working grey item am I just grandfathered out here?

Most likely a random dungeon neck with a socket proc. the warforged necks from wod are the same ilvl as a normal blue now so either will do. Find an easy boss to farm for your prefered stats.

Some options for a socketed necklace would be completing https://www.wowhead.com/quest=12713/betrayal or JCing a socketed neck. There is https://www.wowhead.com/item=32508/necklace-of-the-deep which has two sockets.

For any characters under level 15 though, it's gonna strictly be a socket proc from a drop.

HOA necklace is second in bis, can be double socketed with the same stuff used to socket rings. the TW version (ilev 60 2 sockets) comes quite close to amensia
