Bugged Gear Thread

I found quite a few things scattered across my characters. Pretty sure all of them are quest rewards that upgraded.

Hi lads!

Returning player here. I’ve been off wow for quite some time and obviously I missed a lot of things.

I see that for the current pre-patch there is a way to get ilvl items of 120. Being a fully PVE player, i wanted to ask if any of you can give me a hint on how to farm them efficiently.

What I did up to now in regards to LW was only the Elves chapter (so not very familiar with it). And at the end of it I got 1 item. And I was wondering if there is another way, because I’ve seen people with full set in a short period of time.

Any hints will be highly appreciated!

All the best to you!

Xal'atath is probably the fastest LW to get items, though I wouldn't worry too much about it; odds are it'll be fixed in the near future. I'd be shocked it it sticks around for longer than a week.

I mean no one is gonna stop you from farming for the gear, just do it with the expectation that it will be fixed rather quickly.

You can't complete The Lich King and for some reason I can't do Ethereals. I've done Ethereals before but now I don't get credit for kills to get past the first couple of quests. The Elves, Xal'atath, and the first box of The Lich King work though.

Based on all the info I've gathered it seems to be upgraded items that were obtained in SL and Dragonflight 2021-2023.
Doesn't seem to be still possible (hope I can be proven wrong)

But also doesn't seem like a lot of the items are that great, socket gear beats most slots, so only stuff like cloak, trinkets, weapons are good.

Is it possible to learn this power in NA? All of the EU scumbags with no shame just rerolled to NA, where people are unwilling to organize a mass report.
If enough people start caring it might happen, for EU it took a near death bracket for it to happen.
To be fair in your case you should just play EU too. You're one few people that cares and on top of that you know how to play.
Sure there's still too many people playing fotm and sometimes it takes too long for people to balance games, but there's no 29s and people play better.

The fastest way for you to do so:
1) Finish any quests (finish a zone for example)
2) Group up with a friend.
3) Enable partysync
4) Re-do these quests (i think daily) for a chance on a box (good odds)

Make sure your friend remains in party though, else it resets. (there's a chance reset beats waiting daily though, i wouldn't know).

What you should do after:
Research what kind of TBC gear you need & farm it easier.
Honestly you wouldn't even need 120 for it. If you lack time or like doing it the lazy way some basic gear and sitting on a specific boss works too.

You and conzil might just convince me yet. I’ll consider it soon for sure.

What did you get banned for

I played like an idiot in MOP Remix, didn’t think to change accounts.

Blizz never gave me an answer but my guess is mass reports from hyperspawn farming, especially in zones that were farmed by endgame abusers. Same people that were soloing raids after day 1 and selling boosts.

I also ran thousands of heroics on random dungeon finder, most of them in 30 seconds or less. Many times boss mechanics caused insta death of the poor levelers left behind, like in jade serpent temple.

Probably mass reports from both groups of people.

Thank you brother for this extensive explanation. Cheers!

For Ethereals, you need to switch to current timeline otherwise enemies are 25 levels and don't give credit.

Xal'atath is bug, in the final quest to go down and face Xal'atath, the teleport button don't show and you stuck upstairs.

I just repeated the first part of Xal'atah. Took about 3 min to get a box. I have 7 iLvl120 pieces on my lvl11 druid. Still no fun anymore.
