How much speed does the SL gems give now?
used to be 15, now 3 speed per gem, which gave me a lvl20 speed cap previously now equals to 15% of effective increase
Probably isnt worth it anymore for lvl20s, I'd rather have 8x3agi
Healing gem heals for the same 133hp per SL gem, but on live I have 2400hp (30% healing every 10 seconds) vs on PTR I have 6800 hp so it heals for 12% every 10 sec
At least I still have my SL rings which hopefully will stay grandfathered

My epic cudgel and ravens mace are still ilvl 37 lol, same with the triple socket cloth helm from terrokkar forest that upgraded to rare.

Not sure whats going on but my lvl 30 priests damage in follower dungeons is super broken, tooltip in and outside of dungeons says 1.6k for mindblast but inside a follwoer dungeon its hitting for 8k+ Outside of a follower dungeon its the noral 1,6k

Hopped on my lvl 30 mage to see if its the same for her but its not, normal tooltip damage. No idea what is going on and causing my priests damage to be so high.

Oh God, they've nerfed the SL gems? I think Blizzard may have finally won the war on twinks, for me at least.

Remember when the BFA speed gems were +3/5%? i do. Back in SL, it was worth collecting +Speed gear for max level toons. You could even craft it. It was great. It was still kinda worth it in DF but even +1000 Speed is barely over +1% movement speed for a level 80 toon in TWW so I just don't bother. Remember when it was worth collecting Azerite gear for a Speed set for legacy content? I do. Oh and all the nerfs and changing their mind on Baron Rivendare's Sword? I do.

As we've seen in Remix (twice now), it just doesn't matter if people move a lot faster. It's just more fun.

TWW for me has been Blizzard's War on Fun. IMHO every single TW change was negative (for anyone of any level) since the TWW prepatch.

This time around I didn't preorder Midnight. I think I'm going dark until whatever Remix is in 12.2 late 2027. There's literally nothing I'm looking forward to with this expansion.
 
I haven't been on PTR, but if the talent tree tool on wowhead is to be trusted us f2p druids wont have access to brambles any more. I reeeeeeally don't like that :-(

If you think that's bad, DH 20s lose a charge of Fel rush AND netherwalk. The fel rush is one thing, but losing netherwalk on top of the speed drop really hurts. Steep price to pay for a ranged spell. My toon's ass is gonna be sore after the butt kicking this patch is gonna give.

Mut loses venomous wounds for energy regen.
One of our class talents choices buffs evasion whichw e cant even talent into until lvl 26 but dont worry you can talent into it at lvl 12 rofl.
infusion of light for paladins still requires lvl 27 but is a lvl 13 talent.
Enh shaman has to spec into maelstorm weapon affecting healing surge.
Enh losses elemental blast.
Enh has to spec into flametougne weapon (was baseline) feels miserable to take but req if you want lavastrike to deal damage.

What do we get in return? crash lightning for enh
Auto attack damage buff for rogue....which also applies to everyone.
I am hurt irl at how poorly rogues are going to be for pve content coming in todays prepatch, I am not even sure they can solo dungeon bosses anymore. At least I havent been able to on the ptr /shrug 90% of my damage on training dummies is melee auto hits now rofl. For all the doom and gloom rogue will still be able to find a place in pvp but the pve side of the class has been brutalized by the hp/damage buff to dungeons and the sland gem nerfs. Even with a full set of socket gear for revit gem bosses are hitting for half my health on a single hit at times. I straight up died to the spiderlings in shadowmoon burial ground when I accidently ran into one.....the small little trash mobs not the big spiders because the first boss kills me in under 6 seconds with just auto hits rofl.

I only have the utmost respect for anyone that gears up and plays rogue in wargames come prepatch.

Guess logging in to feel like you have a broken leg compared to yesterday isn't as bad as being straight up taken out back behind a Denny's and shot.

I have waited two years for talents to be fixed. This is bullshit.

I like playing BM hunter. Historically it's rarely if ever been the best spec (when you look at M+/raid DPS rankings). That's fine with me. I'm a collector and don't really partake in season M+/raids. Like at all. Except a pinch of LFR.

And I've been deeply unhappy with the cumulative changes to the class/spec since (and including) SL.

Torghast for a BM hunter was complete ass. There were no interesting powers. In fact pretty much everything revolved around Barbed Shot. As we've seen from the changes going live today, Blizzard has decided that Multi-Shot isn't "thematic" for BM so we're losing it, despite having Multi-Shot since Vanilla. So that probably explains why ZZERO Torghast powers affected Multi-shot.

Up until DF the talents had movement speed talents very early on in the talent tree. You could take out-of-combat movement speed increase as your level 10 talent. That got moved to being a 50+ talent. Why? All of the talents hunters get on the class tree are now utterly useless. Like what level 15 needs Tranq Shot? Or even traps in general? Compare that to Warriors getting War Machine at level 10. I fully expect that to go too at some point.

So the net result is that a level 20 hunter is complete garbage. They have a fraction of their total toolkit and it's no fun so I just don't twink a hunter at all.

I used to level alts a lot. I don't enjoy levelling hunters anymore in part because of these changes but also because TW is complete ass now. Also, levelling outside of Remix is foolish now.

So I feel for the rogues and shamans out there. Also priests lost Rhapsody in all this. I think Blizzard is winning the war on twinks by simply making them completely unfun to play.

This feels awful, I don't know what they expect a fresh leveler to do. I just died to trash from spell push back with pretty decent gear.
