GUIDE ON HOW TO RESET INSTANTLY TO BOSSES IN DUNGEONS

This method is now known as snowman reset

If you want to farm a low drop rate item from a boss at the end of a long winding instance, worry no further.
When resetting instance, blizzard will displace all characters inside dungeon into the dungeon's spawn. However, you CAN NOT be displaced from a location when stunned. Thus, we can apply a toy such as [Ancient Bloom] or [Personal Shell] to stun ourselves before logging out. After resetting an instance once more, the toon will log in at the exact location the toon logged out at with a fresh boss.

Have not tested with Mannequin Charm yet as I missed it on trading post.
working ones rn:
- winterveil disguise kit - NO COOL DOWN
• Ancient's Bloom - 30 min CD
• Personal Shell - 1 hour CD
• Ancient Amber - 30 min CD
• Botani Camouflage - 30 min CD
• Stasis Sand - 5 min CD

It doesn't matter which boss. You can do it at any location at any time frame in dungeon

Also tried cursed orb, but it's not letting me use it in the instance at lvl 10. Ancient's Bloom did work though. I'll really need to get Stasis Sand

snowman toy works as well, if you snowballs to spare (dirt cheap in ah). it has no cd.

most old dungeon works, some new ones have interesting mechanic which prevent you from doing this.

I'd be careful with this. This is dangerously close to exploit territory and we've seen in the last week or two how Blizzard can move that goal post without warning.

I can't speak for blz but imo this doesn't break anything. You can already burn through most dungeons very fast with a well geared twink or max level char, and there is a 10/hr throttle on how many gear you can get. Snowman is just a qol tool to skip the hassle.

As a side note, I do know another trick to bypass the 10/hr limit, but that'd most likely be considered a exploit, so..

I suppose it's not straightforward that each server has it's own separate 10/hr instance limit, though even with workarounds, who really wants to grind dungeons that fast that often without an excuse to take a break from running the same thing over and over and over? I suppose props to those who have that level of dedication!

Blizz alrdy did soft atata and some scolding on those who did it in remix. Clearly claiming their right to more dramatic reaction when they want.
