Hunter is not easy to play, please help

Honestly, I don't recommend using nearly as many macros on hunter as you do your paladin.

This.

To the OP: When I saw the macros on the paladin, I thought "that won't work well for the specs that I play", because almost every effect is needed separately, to combine with others freely. You tried to do on the hunter what you did on the paladin and I think that played a big role in you "not feeling" the spec.

its true i dont use any macroes on keybinds to challenge myself:

EDIT: I typed too much shit.

This is how retard proof hunters are in the 20s:

/targetenemy
/cast serpent sting

There you go, I just uped your hunter game by 50% with a 2 line macro. This will cast serpent string on any target in range and then when you press it again it will cast it again on any target in range, repeat. Stack haste to get your GCD as low as possible. You are now *no joke* top 1% of all hunters in the bracket.

No longer need to bind trap, too, because this macro makes it useless.

Hunter isn't hard to play stop saying that. :NotLikeThis:

It has one of the highest skill ceilings of any class, but the skill floor is non-existent man. I can count the truly good hunters I've seen in the bracket over the years on one hand.

You ever queue into Dimitri on a hunter during BFA? Scary shit.

That does mean its hard to play. Its just not hard to do well with it.

This is such obvious bait I'm disappointed in all of you

Yes, but we have to get you irritated enough to lock this crap up... which apparently requires far more skill on our part than playing a hunter does.

Can confirm most hunters (yes, twinks) are not terribly great, at least in EU. The damage that is supposed to be scary is low, the overall impact is nearly on the level of a warrior.

Hunter twinks backpeddle to the top of the charts, it's not hard.

If anyone genuinely wants to become a god tier hunter, the macros this guy uses are really nice. I use them on my 60 survival (no I'm not going to make a 20 survival, yw).

The template for pretty much all offensive spells is:

#showtooltip
/cancelaura Aspect of the Turtle
/cast [@mouseover, exists, harm] Tranquilizing Shot; Tranquilizing Shot

This means you can cast abilities by mousing over people and if you don't have a mouseover target, it will cast on your target. This by itself is insane, as you can slow/harpoon/interrupt people without having to change targets. All the other macros are nice but if you just make this macro for every attack excluding kill command, you'll be sweet. (Assuming you're actually good at hunter's kit).
