Do FCs ruin pugs?

Been in a lot of games recently that are unbalanced because one team has an FC and the other doesn't. A lot of times my team complains or just stops trying. If pugs can't do jumps than fc is basically immortal. Is this unhealthy for the bracket?

Not really looking for exact amswer.. just opening discussion.

Id say it can be.. But what do you want us to do? People have free will.

I just got out of a game where I was the only person who would touch the flag.. Which I hate doing on my rogue.. cause one hunter and Im dead in less than 3 seconds.. solo'd by the usual bad. Made me give up pretty fast.

Id argue that the bigger problem is the toxicity of hunters face rolling for hks.

Any competent 19s player that can jump is going to be a nightmare if you have 9 other clueless pugs, regardless of class.

I'd argue the opposite to FCs ruining pugs. Imo the best pugs are when both teams have a proper FC - it turns the clown fiesta down a notch.

Indeed.

A good FC can carry the team.

This is a troll thread right? To even come up with this shit.
To anwser your question: The FC (or any skilled player shouldn't) be blamed for their skills and jumps.
It's unhealthy to cater towards low-skill/no-effort players.
They could practice for a day and get the result would be that they can perform most important jumps.

Some games are unbalanced because one side has more twinks while the others don’t. Or one side has more healers. Or one side has a premade on Discord. Or one side has Charax.

That’s the pug life. A fresh game and new combination of factors is just a few minutes away.

Truth. =^.^=

I'd argue that jumping fc's vs new twinks are what is keeping the bracket from expanding. What I see a lot of on my server (Mograine, EU) are people make twinks, play them for a week or two then quit in frustration because wsg is nothing like they were expecting. Only between 5% and 10% of people who made twinks play them at least once a week on Mograine alliance side. Obvioulsy i can't speak for any other server.

I'm not blaming fc's, i do it myself, I just feel that without some of the jumps being possible there would be a lot more twinks playing.

Hands off of us FC’s

Yes.. Its really challenging to sort out the movements of 10 people and troll them with movement and los. It really does take a lot of developed skill.

Ill be honest.. I can only fc against bad groups.. and bad huntards.. One huntard and Im done for regardless of class/spec/gear/effort/RNG/Consumables or Help from my own team to kill them.

On a side note.. I also hunt the huntards because I despise lazy crutch players.

Honestly, compared to the other brackets, 19 Hunter is pretty weak. Very low damage potential, only fun part is kiting Rogues.

An IRL friend of mine made a 19 twink. He was expecting WSG to be mostly levelers so he could faceroll some noobs. I think it was a huge let down for him to realize the bracket's ratio is more twinks than levelers, and very competitive. Been around 2 months since hes played his twink.

Being one of those wsg veterans that has played for almost a decade, it is a very tough environment to learn as a new player.

I hate PuGs where both sides don't have an FC. It makes the game unbearable as a Priest player since I have nobody to heal consistent with a strategy to win WSG.

Hard disagree. Perhaps in the past or at Vanilla launch, the goal for most twinks was to faceroll levelers. I don't think those are the people twinking today, and I've introduced several people to Classic Twinking that have never twinked before. Other than some of the jumps, they're doing alright.

This.

Think a part of the problem is also the lacking knowledge for new twinks regarding jumps, seems almost mandatory to be using some sort of script / mouse program to perform perfect forward + jump nowadays in the classic meta.

Can relate to people giving up chasing FC's performing perfect jumps everytime and being unable to chase.

And shamans.. And priests.. And mages.. And warlocks.. And Hunters.. and warriors.. did I miss something? What Im getting at is doesnt matter how much damage you do if you are completely untouchable.. with no mental capacity whatsoever motorboating your keyboard like a brain dead monkey.

There are some of those that macro their speed pads to do perfect jumps.. but to me that just gets in the way of the rest of the pvp match. Its not worth it.. just learn with your muscle memory.

I'm confused by your response. Hunters kiting... Hunters? If you think Hunters are OP at 19, I gotta ask, have you played 29s, 39s, or 49s?
