US Looking for Horde 111 DH's

Just need to farm some weapons in Tol'Dagor for my twink. If anyone could hop on a 111 Horde DH for the added drop chances, that'd be awesome. I can pay for your time in helping me too! :)

Do you still need help with this?

Yes I do, add me in-game! I am waiting for the servers to be up and will hop on :)
but why? its a 217 drop are you wanting it for tmog? you can buy or have made 233’s. even those 233’s are just a place holder until you get relics for your artifact weapon.
Because at 111, sockets are BiS. Therefore, I cannot buy a socketed crafted weapon from the AH and those 217 glaives become my BiS.

ok but those will always have haste/vers as secondaries. the crafted 233 has a higher base damage and you can find ones with the stat combo you actually need like mastery. im in the same boat as you i dont spend time in antorus runs so im also keeping every bfa dungeon drop with a socket/leech/speed. i think mine is sitting at 101% mastery without any coming from trinket slots so i can change them out and not lose any movement speed.

Correct but the damage on the weapon isn't what matters. The scaling and the extra vers you receive from a socket is absolutely BiS, every time. It's just how it is for 111's haha. Would you mind helping me out by chance? :D

alliance sorry. i did run out there to see if i was missing something. i only run bfa stuff using the random finder i had no idea we could even go in lol. even wowhead says its for level 115 and up. are there any unique azerite pieces from there?

Ah dang it, it's ok. And I'm unsure, haven't checked any dungeons to see if the azerite is any good. I have all of my BiS pieces from questing though, so.

Back when I did the math for my resto druid on whether to farm for mainhand + offhand 217s socketed vs keeping my artifact, the artifact came out ahead. The 40-50 ilvl difference means that while you gain an extra 100 versatility you lose about 150 or so mainstat, a not insignificant chunk of stamina, and some other secondary stats that are inherently higher on the higher ilvl artifact. The gain in +heal and dmg reduction wasn't something that I felt outweighed the loss in dps and health pool.

Now, if you have access to the garrosh heirlooms (2 sockets per 1 hander) then it's a different story. A total of 4 sockets dualwielding those will definitely be worth it, but 2 sockets from dungeon 217s are not enough imho.

Of course, that's from the point of view of WPvP, and a resto dpser. For me, versa is about tied with intellect for dmg increase. If it's e.g. twice as good as agility for DHs then by all means go ahead.

Yeah, it's most definitely worth the loss of iLvl, at least for my Warlock and DH. The damage increase and damage taken reduction plus increased healing scaled with your leech is too good to pass up. That being said, do you have a 111 Horde DH by chance? :p

No, sorry. Plus I'm EU, and you seem to be US so ... :)

I'm willing to tip a lot of gold or rare battle pets for your time in helping. Each kill takes legit 20 seconds to farm so we hit the instance lockout in minutes haha. I just need the extra drop chances <3
