Simple question: What's the BIS wand for F2P caster classes/specs (besides the Inquisitor's wand from the invasion event) ? Should I be going for the highest ilvl wand available or is it something else that makes the BIS wand e.g. weapon dmg, weapon speed etc. ?

persons theory it wand equaling two slot for being stat scale for one slot use. being greater than normal weapon for it is 1 slot for 1 slot use.
for simple/
1+1+1=3 ;wand+oh
1+1+0=2 ;mh+oh
1+0+0=1 ;2h

Thanks Farnk! I wasn't expecting that haha. This is a f2p question, however; if I'm understanding Farnk's language correctly, the highest ilvl wand will be BIS. So, for a f2p/vet the best wand is http://www.wowhead.com/item=5211/dusk-wand which is pretty much the easiest thing to obtain ever.

Well the bg crate wand can upgrade to a 28....
I'm pretty sure there is no wand from the crate. The crate rewards a one-handed sword or a one-handed mace for casters. If there is one, please show proof of it.

2H counts as 2 slots.
Wands are better than everything else because for some reason they count as 2H.

because you probably dont have the ilevel to reach the stat breaking point. id rather rock something that would provide me some goldshire teeth

Burning Wand should be best minus the Fel Gear. I'd go with the slower speed (do we even have shoot?) Well if we do it might be impacted by that... I haven't seen a wand from BG crate either. You could see if the Legion polearm would be more stats then wand combo (if you can use that)

Much appreciated. I snagged an invasion wand on all my casters but was unsure if they were worthwhile versus other wands/staffs but I'm not good enough at playing casters to really tell.
